Exiting Area69

How do I leave from inside area 69? I got in by glitch on a pcj600 & now I can't leave!

Go back to the same place that CJ appeared when you glitched in and hit your enter button. With a bit of luck you'll end up on the bike.

 

If there is a jetpack in the bottom (after Black Project) there's a softspot in the ceiling that should let CJ out. You could also use the jetpack cheat.

 

But the easy way out is to let CJ die.

 

Added: GTA Phreak used to have a video showing how to get into and out of the underground military base using blue hell tricks and a jetpack, but I can't find it anymore. Sorry.

The first part of that video shows hows his glitch might be recreated, and how hitting the Enter Vehicle button might get him out, but it doesn't show the soft spot in the ceiling that might let CJ out with a jetpack. I wouldn't be surprised if that video died with Google Video. It was posted a very long time ago.

 

Added: this video shows how to get in and out of the underground base in the LV desert. The entrance part is so dark that it might not be helpful, but the TC wanted the way out anyway, so skip to about 5:00. He uses a cheat, but if Black Project has been completed then the jetpack is in the deepest part of the base anyway.

I was never able to do it with any other bike than the freeway, I read somewhere it was the only one that let you exit, and even so there were a few times that I couldn't exit anyway, maybe the bike vanishes or the cops outside move it. I don't know.

But always a freeway the other bikes don't work

There is a very high chance that your bike (Freeway most likely, though I dont know how did you managed to do it with PCJ...) will get moved by the cops. So this not always work, but usually when I do my minigun run through whole San Andreas, I manage to get out of the Area 69 almost everytime. I also go there first, for obvious reasons..
