Ermac_
I really did not like how the screen turned black and faded out when you died in GTA IV, I hope they simply keep the screen normal and allow for your body to come to a complete stop upon death, It just adds more to the gameplay, anyone agree with that the death animation needs to change. CryptReaperDorian
How about we go vintage with this? I think the voice is only on the PC version.

F8RNiKate
I liked the black and white thing. Leave it as it is. That would be depressing like GTA IV. It made me cry. The screen should be saturated red this time and Wasted shows WASTED type of font or similar.
Dope_0110
I'd just like it to be shorter like in previous games, wasted.. the end. IV had it too long in my opinion, I get killed in an explosion and I have to spend 5 minutes watching my body fly around in slow motions... nah, tell me I'm wasted and transport me to the hospital, I want to play. Vex_Doppel
Sometimes I get annoyed when it blacks out too fast cause I wanna see where my body ended up or other various things that happened around me that cause my death. Really hope this is coming out for next gen. PS4 has that share button and I can see that being a useful tool.
shifty66
speaking of the gta IV death screen, what changed how long it took to finish? was it until your body landed on the ground?

Hazelnot
You could skip it by pressing X. All the platforms IV was released on have an X button. Which one are you reffering to?

If it's on the PS3 and "A" on the Xbox 360, then my guess is that it's "ENTER" on PC. I might be wrong.

Yeah, I agree. I thought it was cool for the first few times, but I quickly got tired of it. BTW, I love your avatar.

vivalavendredi
I'm sure it will be something like the "zooming out camera" which also appears when we switch characters. Imho the dying scenes in IV were ok too. What I didn't like in IV was, when Niko died, sometimes he flew through the air like a starfish - that looked ridiculous as f*ck
Pegerino
the death animation i think will be the classic WASTED !!

OT - I'd like the Camera to be relatively the same, maybe a Sunset Type of Color instead of the Deathly Gray.
Mokrie Dela
I liked the black and white thing. Leave it as it is. This. I rarely got killed in IV (and when i did i reloaded last save) but when I did, the black and white slo-mo was epic. I loved it. I don't want the old "WASTED" thing to return. It was a slap in the face when talking of immersion and in that instant, instead of living the story, I'm suddenly aware it's JUST a game. I like the helplessness that IV gave, and the sadness of it. Disappointed that RDR had a huge DEAD! screen and not the same. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. nigelhere9901
What the HECK are you trying to say? In the thread title you say "animation" and in the OP, you type something completely different. OT: It was great, I'd rather not want it to be replaced by the classic way.
I<3GTAV
Maybe instead of black and white, they could make the screen blood red. But keep it generally the same, I loved to watch my body bounce everywhere after I die.
