I can't consider the Wii U a next-gen console because it does not really that rank IMO. It was just.... a big disappointment overall for me and for nearly everyone else too. With the Xbox One giving a rather disappointing preview, it looks like the PS4 seems to be the only quality next-gen console at this point. We have to wait and see what the next-gen has to offer, hopefully there are some killer games like Far Cry 4, The Elder Scrolls VI, Just Cause 3, GTA V/VI etc. In my eyes it's to soon to even think about Elder Scrolls VI. (Okay not really, especially since it's bound to happen next gen) Not untill I get my grubby little hands on Fallout 4 that is lol. That has to be my most looked forward game next generation and I hope it's announced at E3. Between my GTAV hype and that I'd be liable to die tough. Besides GTA IV, Midnight Club: Los Angeles What was your favorite game (other than GTA and R* games) this gen? I'm torn between Burnout Paradise and Gran Turismo 5. What was a trend you liked/disliked this gen? Any type of non-free DLC. What were the most underrated/overrated games of this gen? COD is overrated a lot. Same with RDR. RDR IS good, but not as good as everyone says it is tbh.Pretty much every racing game is underrated, but games life NFS are overrated. Were you happy with the current gen of consoles? I guess. And this year, as well as the oncoming, is going to be full of many promising and potentially groundbreaking games, including Remember Me, The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, Beyond: Two Souls, Watch Dogs, Gran Turismo 6, The Evil Within, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes/Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain... Count me in as one those people who were following it from day one and then ended up disappointed. What was your favorite R* game this gen? Rockstar took a backseat for me this generation. Disappointing Grand Theft Auto, disappointing Midnight Club, disappointing reboot of Max Payne. I'd say the game that impressed me the most from Rockstar this generation is a game that doesn't even have a prequel: L.A. Noire. What was your favorite game (other than GTA and R* games) this gen? Mass Effects 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Bioshock Infinite, Portal 2, Fallout 3, Far Cry 3, Halo 3, Heavy Rain, and Forza Motorsport 4. What was a trend you liked/disliked this gen? Liked - The general concept of DLC to extend gameplay, even though it might be poorly handled in some cases.Disliked - The general inclusion of multiplayer in nearly everything. What were the most underrated/overrated games of this gen? Overrated - GTA IV.Underrated - Project Gotham Racing 4. Were you happy with the current gen of consoles? Yes. And finally did you like the current generation of gaming? Yes. Although, I'd say, gaming in general was less disappointing in the preceding generation.
