If people don't want attachments, then they shouldn't buy them. There's no reason why a 400-yard range assault rifle should be struggling to kill at 100 or so yards maximum; yet we don't people riding R*'s ass about that. This isn't COD you fa**ots, they never use real life stuff in GTA Quit being such an ignorant ass, CoD didn't invent real firearms so stop mentioning it, and R* always uses real firearms (unlike the cars which are a mix-match of different models with some other liberties taken, guns always looked exactly like a single real life counter part), they just mostly used generic names like "Combat Shotgun" with very few guns having real names like the AK-47 and M4 (as is the case in GTA San Andreas), they seemed to opt to use only generic names with GTA IV. Anyway, I hope they come up with parody names for all the guns this time around, like they do with cars and everything else. Still a lot of companies that manufacture it and A LOT of modifications for it as well. So obviously I'm gonna put a supressor on it (as I love a TRUE stealth experience and am wondering how far Rockstar actually went with it), but I was wondering if the customizable color of the gun means "oh, you can paint this gun green if you wanna" or means something slightly deeper like "you can have a nickel plated finish to it with black double diamond rubber grips".
