Dont_Mess_69
On a bike, you can get thrown off. In a car, your tires can pop, the engine can die, or it can catch fire. If you were to use a submarine to escape; how fast could it descend? Or what will be the issues with it; will it be battery operated and run out, or only hold a certain amount of oxygen? Distrom
Maybe, if you crash with the ocean floor or something, the windows could brake, and the pressure would kill you instantly (of course, after several crashes)

r0eladn
thats not really an issue, is it. Grenades or RPG or crashing into stuff will make it sink or whatever.

I don't know if you know this, but submarines sink when they're 'broken'. So that will probably be its weakness, sinking. – overeducated wonk who fetishises compromise
wwinterj
I'd imagine you can exit it at anytime when underwater but naturally you won't be able to re-enter.

richard1997jones
Well take a submarine too deep they implode and hit it against something it will fill up with water all you have to do is open the escape hatch and off you go, if you stay you drown

Dope_0110
I doubt they'll make the sea too deep and bother with water pressure. No need for that, it's place is in one of those stupid ''i wish relauzzzaammm'' threads. Also, the limited amount of oxygen would be the dumbest thing they ever did. The whole purpose of a sub is to be able to spend time underwater without worrying about oxygen. But sure, bullets (if police is chasing you in boats and helicopters) may pierce the front glass and that would be when player ejects and the sub sinks. Also crashing against the ships or underwater rocks at higher speeds (provided it can actually go fast enough) would also crack the glass.
Cutter De Blanc
If I'm paying like $50,000 out of my heist money for a submarine the motherf*cker better not have a limited anything supply, and I better not have to abandon it permanently underwater if I want to swim around. The fact that we can buy marinas coupled with the likelihood that R* will upgrade the vehicle storage system now we have customization and things such as subs may mean that an infinite amount will spawn for us at one of these marinas. To balance this they will probably we very expensive.
Cutter De Blanc
I don't think we should have to swim back to the marina everytime we want our sub back because we decided to investigate a shipwreck. That's bogus.

BlackNoise
I bet money if our wanted level is too high and we try to just go underwater in the submarine, we'll have to deal something like these crazy f*ckers...

Los Santos Fire
I wonder if you can do drivebys in a submarine. That would kick ass. This, my fellow forum sufferers, is a perfect example of someone talking without THINKING. But we will run with this and ask this guy a few questions. If he can logically answer the questions then we will agree with him, however if he can't answer of just replies with something negative then we will call him a moron. 1. How exactly would you do a driveby in a sealed submarine? There are no mounted weapons. Would you tape a gun to robotic arm? 2. Who would you shoot at that would qualify as "kick ass"? Fish? Sharks? Divers? 3. Is it really a concern of the african american community that there aren't enough underwater "gangstas" representin' the mermaid "set"? To answer the OP - I think the sub will take damage until it explodes like a car. Thats it.

Maybe a 5-10 Minute Scuba Gear Oxygen Limit and then with the Submarine you've going 15-30? Give's a certain thrill, also a time period to search. I agree, but I wanted to point out that there's a good bit more than gangstas populating the world and Rockstar has already pointed out that when we go treasure hunting we will encounter others hunting those same treasures. Their vast beautiful underwater world that they spent so much time on can go f*ck itself if I have to be watching the clock while I'm there. I can understand for scuba gear, but if they f*ck the submarine up like that I probably won't be spending hardly any time down there at all. GlitzyTomb
I don't imagine they'll put a limit on the sub. They might not even put on on the Scuba Gear...or if they do I would hope it's a damn high limit.
