wwinterj Posted May 19, 2013 Share Posted May 19, 2013 I'll watch video reviews once I've played the game myself(no spoilers) but can't say I'll be watching videos of other people playing. One thing I like about R* is that they don't show much gameplay before there games come out. I did enjoy the Red Dead Redemption series they had and that didn't spoil the game. Other game developers seem to tell you/show you everything before a games out. At that point I have a media blackout much like I'm currently doing with the Last of Us. I'm already buying the game and have it paid in full and will do the same with GTA V so I'm nothing to gain watching videos of people playing where as if I resist it makes things a bit more of a surprise. A while ago i saw this video of him playing a game and he clearly was doing things wrong in the game, the game had told him how to do certain things, but he kept f*cking up. But he got more mad and upset and what not, started cussing at the game and what not, saying it's a stupid game and such, hilarious. So i wrote a comment to him and said it was his own fault, he's doing it wrong...the poor bastard blocked me right away after that, pathetic. Oh and he's also pretty damn unfunny with his jokes and comments, quite annoying too. ZeroXshinobi, that is a dude i can genuinely laugh about at times when he's putting on a voice for a certain character in games. He's cool. That said...i'm not looking forward to GTA V videos at all on youtube. I will be playing this badboy myself as soon as it comes out and watching youtube would be a huge waste of time and the game, i'd rather discover all the stuff myself. There's very few people who can talk for hours on end without a) constantly repeating themselves & b) be funny on a regular basis. If I were to do a playthrough, I'd only talk if I had something interesting, useful or funny to say. Anyway, I'm not watching any videos of V until I've completed it myself & then I'll only watch videos of rare events that I haven't experienced myself (like some of the hilarious glitches in RDR).
