Guest
I was pretty sure I had seen the whole game when around 2 years ago I discovered something new. Now I want you to show us stuff that you think others don't know about. I'll start with an example. It's a 'trick' with a camera. Just get your homies and... Either shoot 'em... ("I love shooting people!... With a camera. -CJ") Or get shot!
lil weasel
What about photographing homies didn't we know?
GTASAddict
http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=543780 As you can see, I beat you to it. I'm surprised Weasel didn't parrot his famous: "The game is old; the search function answers many question" comment.

I'm surprised Weasel didn't parrot his famous: "The game is old; the search function answers many question" comment. A bunch of harpies, that's what you are. Where did I say I wanted to show you the photograp thing? My goal was to try to get other people share their finds. But I guess this game is old anyways, nothing interesting to show. Still, I regret joining this sh*thole again. THe last time was a fight with people including admins. Just pure cockiness and hatred here.

fnxrak
NAMASTE DUDES. Chill out So Fugitive19 you want to share us things you found by yourself. Go ahead show, but if you don't want people to say I found that first, just use the search function to see if someone actually found it first. Hell I've also found things myself that later I found out someone had already found. Yes the game is old, but that doesn't mean we can't find new things. I don't know maybe it's the name of the topic, maybe it should be something more like Share your tricks, or experiences, or something like that. Dope_0110
Dude, the game itself has this written in the instructions just like it explains police, or death or controls in the beginning (the black box in the upper left corner). I knew this the moment I got the camera and walked out of the house in Groove street. Edited May 19, 2013 by Dope_0110
AuSsIeThUnDeR36
EDIT: << Merged to similar topic >> I decided to load my ps2 cd on the pc and opened up a few areas. In the vehicle.ide file there is 411 different vehicles. Peds.ide lists over 300 different ped models. Apparently there is a busker ped and also a PSYCHO ped with a bad temper and random behaviour! Some of the original gang names are found as Ballas - Rival Black Gang - AKA FLATS Los Santos Vagos - AKA Northside Mexicans San Fiero Rifa Da Nang Boys - AKA Vietnamese ITALIAN MAFIA TRIADS Varrio Los Aztecas - AKA SOUTH SIDE MEXICAN Then it listed 2 unused gangs (hmm) Weapons.ide revealed a skateboard that could be used as a melee weapon, also Screwdriver, hammer, cleaver, machete, buddyshot??, laser rifle, M60 and a 2nd type of minigun. There is heaps of other stuff which is too long to mention. Apologies if these things were already known. MrMateczko
This is the same stuff as in the PC version, everyone knows that. Weapons.ide stuff is simply leftovers from Vice City that are not used.

GTASAddict
Nice observation there, AuSsIeThUnDeR36. This must be how Skills, Skiller, OrionSR, Ric-013, Edison Carter and other coding geniuses derive their findings. As for the two unused gangs (I call them "gang 9" & "gang 10"), they look like the Aztecas & drive Sentinels. I think the two unused gangs were the San Fierro Rifas and the Bay Marina area to the NW of San Fierro, across the Gant Bridge. Maybe were called 'Marina Rivas' idk

OHDUDE
Good find, Fugitive. Well, I got something else here... It is about the picture frame of Carl in the Johnson's House....... The strange thing is that the title of the building has been printed as a mirror image... Not the title of the building but the entire photo is a mirror image. How did I find that? This way: • Start a new game. • When they say "get on the bike", you turn around the camera and have a close look at Carl's belt buckle. • It resembles the "C" • But when you look at that photo and check his belt, the "C" is inverted. I didnt notice that C . But what I noticed is that CJ when idle always has his neck titled (actually entire body) slightly towards the right..while in the image his neck(and his body) is tilted towards the left..I wasnt actually completely sure of the 'whole image is a mirror' but when you mentioned it, I got it confirmed. Scampi
http://gta.wikia.com/Unnamed_Town I found this today about an unnamed town outside LV that is apparently named afterall. It says it is "named Smokey in the latest version of GTA San Andreas". What does that mean, the latest version? My understanding is that there is the release version for PS2, and an updated version that came later that fixed a couple things. How many other versions are there after that, because I got mine in 2006 and it doesn't mention anything about Smokey. What version is it talking about? GTASAddict
I don't regard this area as a real "town", seeing as it only yields the Big Spread Ranch, an Ammu-Nation, a hot dog vendor and a few trailers. To answer your other question, there are 4 editions of San Andreas available: -Regular San Andreas (NTSC) -Special Edition/Greatest Hits/Trilogy (NTSC) -Regular San Andreas (PAL) -Platinum (PAL) Edited May 30, 2013 by GTASAddict

GTASAddict
Which is exactly what the referenced article says. Anyone who has played the game would know that already without having to read GTA.Wikia. In essence, his "referenced article" answered his question.
Sneakerhead.
Screwdriver, hammer, cleaver, machete, buddyshot??, laser rifle, M60 and a 2nd type of minigun. The hardware shops from VC were going to return. Dafuq? PSG-1 From VC. Same as PSG-1. The unusable minigun that can be seen in that one Zero mission where you shoot down the RC planes. OT: The Spas-12 isn't Pump-Action like in RL. The sound of the ZR-250 came from a movie, I forgot what it's called, I will check later.
