Next GTA V trailer is probably going to be that live-action trailer Rockstar was filming a few weeks ago.

That was confirmed to be bogus.

And this topic is pointless, atleast in the gif I can tell the drifting looks the same as GTA IV. Which is good for me.

Might be illegal street racing? The blue car in there looks like it spun out and hit the sign and lightpole.

It is the hood of a Sabre GT chasing a red Ruiner, who is drifting to the right of a road side, which is to the right of the Bobcat, while a blue Ruiner swerved from the red Ruiner into a pole.

Yeah, I thought it was real too. Goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you see.

Just saw on GTAV.net that it was a commercial by Sony in Mexico or something, and used the GTA V logo without authorization. Not a hoax, just a misunderstanding.

Okay, so, this is from Franklin's trailer. What is the point of this then?

It actually looks a lot better than IV, which has me excited. I tried today to drift in a Ruiner and all I could get was a disappointing one wheel burnout. This video shows a nicely controlled, TWO wheel drift that is held throughout the corner.

This also gives me hope that R* improved the powerband of the engines and removed the stupid assist that cut power when skidding.

Yeah it does look better, a lot but I was concerned for the driving/drifting mechanics because of all the people who seemed to absolute hate the driving in IV.

It was mostly from people who were too used to III era physics and didn't want to learn how to change their driving techniques. IV certainly has many faults but it goes unbeaten in my book as far as sandbox game driving physics.

V looks to improve upon it in the ways I'd hoped so far.

It wasn't for R*, don't people read articles and sh*t? It was for PlayStation.

There is a analysis topic for Franklins trailer. I suggest you go further there.

I wonder if Franklin will do street races when he isn't the selected character.

F*ck off. If you weren't so eager to jump on me like a wild dog, you would have seen I corrected myself in another post. Excuse me for not reading every f*cking article on GTA.

Exactly. GTA IV's driving was perfectly fine. The vehicles were affected by physics, which is why they controlled like that. Like they should. If you've ever driven a real car, the handling in IV was normal.

The car drifting just shows you how good the physics are now. MUCH better than IV. Also, the car with the stripes on the bonnet chasing the other car could be Franklin and he sharply turns somehow probably because its an early version of his slow mo ability.

Imho most of the cars in IV s*cked, felt like driving boats on the road. But R* acknowledged they would fix this smile.gif

Car physics that have been shown for 5 looks amazing tho ! can't wait to cruise around.

Wow, my apologies, I didn't read the whole thread. No need to be a jackass.
