Los Santos is a lot BIGGER than it's size

Okay guys, of course I am not going to comment on the factual

aspects of the main city's square mileage.

 

However, concerning the ongoing dispute debating whether or not,

Los Santos will be a worthy representation of the world famous

Los Angeles "sprawl", I ask you all to contemplate the following

for a second.

 

When Rockstar North embarked on the epic journey of creating

Liberty City, capturing the pulse and feel of New York was the

primary concern. Not the sole driving force artistically, but still

deemed as the very template on which to build the world on.

 

According to millions of grateful fans, they succeeded very much in doing so.

 

This was because the team thoroughly understood and adhered to one

studio-wide mantra :

 

It is never about the construction of a downscaled replica,

it is always about the growing sum of all the intangibles.

 

This time around, the city in question is Los Angeles.

It is widely known that large parts of the team have

visited Los Angeles numerous times in a tireless attempt

to decode the atmospheric heart of the city,

in order to subsequently translate these new intangibles

into their best and most consummate gaming experience so far.

 

Given the universal consensus on how integral this unique

type of suburban sprawl is to the city, as well the merits

of the team's past achievements, I think the most fair and

reasonable thing to do now, is to maintain your trust in the

capabilities of the team to give you the sprawling,bustling

and unpredictable Los Santos you all hope for and expect.

 

But hey, don't take my word for it.

 

Look at the first word in the team's own description of this

gigantic virtual cityscape they are almost done building.

If you still want to remain doubtful based on eyesight estimates

and impressive, but consequently incomplete measurements,

it is, of course, your choice.
