Application Failed to launch problem

i installed gta 4 and when i press the play key, it shows

"Application Failed to Launch.

The application you are attempting to launch no longer exists.

Please reinstall the application, or contact support at: http://www.rockstargames.com/support"

im running windows 8 64bit and i have all latest drivers.i have 4gb ram.i tried re-installing many times but no luck.

 

but in last of install procedure three apps named UMDF , WMFDIST11 and WMPAPPCOMPAT failed to install.it says " Not Enough Storage is Available to process this command".but i have 450gb hard disk and 250gb is free now.is there any way to solve these problems and play gta 4 or cant i play gta 4 in my life.plz help me..........!

You left out A LOT of information that is helpful in determining a solution to your problem, and they are:

 

What is your Processor?

What is the Processor Speed?

What is the Video card?

What is the Total Vram?

What is the Dedicated vram?

Is this the Retail(DVD) version OR a Downloaded version?

If Downloaded, from where?

If Retail, is this the Original DVD being used OR a Copy of the DVD OR a No-DVD Crack?

Any Daemon tools or the like installed on PC?-These can cause problems with games..

Any Screenshots to prove the error/problem?

Thank you for replying.i saw this problem in many sites.but no one has any solution.

Today i solved this problem.follow these steps.

Which is worked for me

 

1.download patch 1.0.7 for gta 4

2.install the patch (if you cant install,you will find a .msi file inside the archieve.open it with universal extractor.extractor all files inside a folder in that archieve to gta 4 directory.

3.download and install razor crack

4.now play game using launchgtaiv.exe

 

it worked for me.i think it will also works for you.

Using a crack is not required unless you own an illegal copy of the game.
