3. Look among the results for a plausible answer

4. Multiply said answer by 3.5

I don't know why I feel like this, but when R* said that it would be 3.5x the size of RDR, it seemed so small to me. I know RDR is about 1.5 - 2x the size of IV, but 3.5x that still seems too small for me. However, I know when I actually get to play the game, I most likely won't feel this way anymore.

Just think of how huge RDR felt and it'll be fine. IV just felt small because it's a city, I reckon.

I thought LC was big and now I hear GTA V is around 5-6 LC that's massive. We still don't know much of the map so I'm sure as you said you'll feel a bit different once you play the game.

6.75 sq miles to be precise, thats literally 25 metres away from 7 sq miles!

It only felt that big because of the flat areas and horses instead of cars. And thats not a bad thing for RDR. But could feel way smaller in GTA

Do this:

 

SA = 13.9 sq miles

RDR = 11.9 (5.5 playable)

IV = 6.3

 

Add them = 25.7 sq miles and IF RDR's unplayable area is involved somehow it will be 32. This doesn't sound small especially how detailed GTA is.
