Murad96
I mean in GTA 4 the driving was more realistic, but you could only go slow mo in the dynamic always changing cinematic view, so it wasn't really gonna help. It still wouldn't have really been much of a help if it wasn't cinematic though. In GTA 5 the driving is probably gonna be easier, so why would you need slow motion? In big turns when you use the handbrake instead? I know it allows more precision, but it doesn't seem that useful unless the police are gonna be smart. You answered your own question right at the end. It's going to be used against police officers since the AI has been improved and maybe because you might need it while using him in SP missions. H. León
I think it will make races a bit less challenging. Races have always been the hardest missions in GTA for me.
jamieleng
It will be like bullet time, where the world around you slows down but your reactions are still at normal speed. I tried out the cinematic slo-mo driving in TBOGT the other day & it actually does have some benefits. It gives you more time to line up your car to fit through tight spaces & tightly packed traffic. Takes some practice though.
wwinterj
As others have said it makes driving more accurate. Not sure if drive- bys are included in this.

BeardedxMic
I think it will make races a bit less challenging. Races have always been the hardest missions in GTA for me. Especially on cliffs and Mountain Edges! Seriously. The races in IV were a pain in the lower extremities at most, and rather boring at least. With Frank's ability to slow down time for the tougher sections, It might actually be possible to complete them.

There might be a missino where Michael & Franklin are on a Motorcycle drivin' off of a ramp, then as michael you enter dead eye and shoot all the cops your jumping over? or as Franklin you go into to slow mo as you ride off the ramp, seems like the type of mission. Cutter De Blanc
Hitting those stunt jumps where you have to turn alot before you line up with the ramp. I could never get those, I'd always end up missing the ramp.
GR7
Watch Trailer 1, the bit where he swerves and narrowly misses the car, it will be used not only as a way to make tight turns but also as a way of making narrow escapes, which makes Franklin a very good getaway driver. Gtaghost22
I would recommend playing MC:LA. With the slo mo on that you could pretty much take corners at 200mph. I honestly thought 'Zone' was the most useless power-up in Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Hopefully it will be as useless in V; don't want them to make it so overpowered to the point where we will have to entirely depend on it to win races/escape cops. I didn't know MC:LA had something similar. I also don't want to have to rely on it, just using it on the odd occasion to get you through, or out of a tight spot. I don't want it to fill up as quickly as the dead eye meter in RDR either.
Patriot_Action
I never played Midnight Club: LA, but I imagine it's similar to the speedbreaker feature in the Need for Speed series (I forget which specific game...Most Wanted?). Used it mostly for getting through police roadblocks and dodging those up-armored SUVs that tried to ram you head-on ("Rhino" units?), although it came it handy in races too when you sh*t the bed and try to take a corner at 185mph. Curious to see how they implement it in GTA V. Just hoping we're not forced to use it at specific moments in missions repeatedly. cp1dell
Ever drive between cars in GTA IV and you slightly clipped a vehicle, completely f*cking you over? Or approaching a turn and you reacted to late and overshoot it? Or a cruiser is speeding towards you, you try to maneuver around it but it hits you? There's lots of ways the slow-motion can be used. Do you want the Microsoft Word paperclip popping up in the middle of the game telling you "Hey dumbass! You can use the slow-motion drive ability right now?" nigelhere9901
Has anyone played Wheelman? This was a pretty good feature. But tbh I don't really like this feature in a GTA game, that's what makes it GTA, R* is now taking ideas from other games and making this generic. GTA's intention was always to be realistic and to be fun at the same time.
Voit Turyv
Ever played NFS Most Wanted (the original one)? I found this ability really helpful there but since cars in GTA are destructible, it will be pulled off more carefully, I guess.

I think they said to fill the ability meter up, you need to make sure you don't die in any mission, that's how you gradually fill your ability bar up. Something like this, i can't remember.
