gtafanny
Look at the image above. What do you see? I'll tell you what I see. I see a beautiful shot of the game. Very beautiful. So beautiful that I began to wonder why exactly is it so well done. I began to have a tiny suspicion there is something fishy going on here. But just a tiny pinch, not a whole lot. Now now, you'd say, what are you implying? Are you suggesting something wrong with this picture? Are you saying this image, perhaps, has been manipulated? How dare you accuse Rockstar of such a thing! I raise my hands to show that I mean no threat, that I'm not the enemy. I calm you down with a gentle pat on the back, and you began to take slow deep breaths. When you're calm and ready, I let you have another quick look at the picture. But only when you're calm and ready. You see, the point is, it doesnt actually matter whether the screenshot is enhanced or not; what matters is that we can know and we can distinguish between an original in game screen and an enhanced screen. Thankfully, at least to my knowledge, there doesnt seem to be another screenshot which is 'polished' in such a way. Where do we go from here? Well, there was a lot debate several months back about whether these screenshots were actually unaltered images, or have some kind of post processing effects. Rockstar has consistently maintained that these screenshots are original in game footage. Alas, the screenshot above clearly (perhaps not as 'clear') demonstrates not only otherwise, and that its not a bad thing after all. But only when it's done explicitly. Just to be clear. Proceed as you wish.

GreatGig
It's actually, in all likelihood, taken using the in-game version of Instagram. Still, it's bloody nice to see a decently written post around here. Good man

jamieleng
That screenshot Is an in-game shot but it's taken using the in-game iFruit phone camera. You can then add post-processing effects via an in-game app for the phone. Notice how the colour is completely different to every other screenshot & the trails from the red rear tail lights. That's what I believe anyway. Edit: Of course, someone has already mentioned what I wrote. Oh well, late as usual. Maglev
Rockstars screenshots might no be edited but they are always the best picked out of dozens of screenshots. Just compare GTA IV screenshots and real ingame play.

With the corners of the screen closing in, like a 'focus' mode. Although didn't really low health in RDR do something similar to the screen? I love the trails on the lights, I hope that actually happens during Franklin's special ability.
BeardedxMic
I hope this topic dies soon. Not this particular thread of it, but the topic in general. It's an open world game that is second only to Just Cause 2(which really should've been called JUST FORESTS), but first in activity and interactivity. You're going to be able to leap out of a plane, parachute into the water, and then dive under said water. You really think how good it looks is going to factor in? How many people on here are still playing IV? or RDR? Or ffs, SA!? You want a pretty game? Go play Saints Row 3. You want a game that's going to give you an actual world, and a sense of maturity? Wait for Sept. 17th.

Wait for Sept. 17th. SR3 a pretty game? It's a horrid looking game that looks much worse in motion. If you'd said 'The Last of Us' (I know it's not open world sandbox) then you'd have a point.
