GTA V Random Scenarios (S1)

Okay, the forums are filled with various things at the moment. I see various threads about graphics, complaining, ass sucking and such. We need to restore balance to the community, we still have four months together after all. I’ve rarely done this before, however I think I’m going to make it a daily thing, and a series of sorts and rely on your opinions. Once again I’m going to conjure up a random scenario and have you, the community judge it.

 

Alright, we know V’s going to have an absolutely massive countryside, yippie aye? But I don’t see people rarely thinking of what we can actually do with all this space. There’ll be farms, that’s for sure, hopefully lots, each being different to the other without the presence of heavy copying taking place. Hopefully they’ll be constantly thriving, like we’ve being promised with the cities, we might see utes going around on checking how things are, young females breaking in horses, a farmer rounding up his cattle, perhaps someone in a tractor doing who knows what with his crop like in San Andreas.

 

I’ve come up with this scenario in my head, mind me that I’m not demanding it in the game or saying there’s no hope that it isn’t already, but this is what it is so here we go.

Alright, you’re Michael, you’ve being punishing the Cognoscenti around the dense rural areas of our fictional LA. You come up on a farm and decide to investigate further. You look around for, I dunno, 10 or so minutes, and it’s fun, you see so much interesting sh*t your head might blow. You wander into a barn and see a nice ATV, you think “hmm, why not take this for a spin?” and hop on it. You do a few laps around the farm and pull up near the house. You lose thought about the environment around you, all of a sudden you hear the sound of a shotgun, what’s this? There he is, your typical bogan farmer from Amuricccca, shotgun in his hands, you’re on HIS property, he is NOT happy. What do you do? Do you run? Do you call the LSPD? Do you take him out yourself?

 

For the sake of it, you’ve decided you’re going to kill him. You get your Colt M1911 out, equipped with a silencer, you take cover behind his lovely old pickup truck, he fires at you three times, smashing out windows and ripping apart the interior. Michael takes his chance, coming out of cover and firing at the mans torso, hitting him twice in the lower part of his torso. He’s wounded, and pretty badly, he’s on the ground trying to crawl away, forgetting about the fight and his gun, you can either call the police, or finish him yourself.

 

Of course, this is GTA, we’re going to finish him ourselves. You point your silenced weapon at his head, and you fire the fatal shot, through the brain, various homely items belonging to his family are covered in blood. Now what happens? Do you leave? Do you wait to see what else happens? Do you call an ambulance for god knows why, maybe to admire your handywork?

Let’s say you wait around. More members of his family come, two inbred sons. They’ve got shotguns too, they start firing at you. Do you run? Call the cops? Kill them?

 

That’s just one of 10’s of thousands possible scenarios.

Pretty cool! I'm hoping sh*t like this will happen all the time, it would be so fun. Just thinking about the farms and places we will find just roaming around gets me pretty hyped. These random encounters just reminded me of something... I wonder if random car jackings are back. I remember in RDR this guy calling me over for help and when I went to help him he threw me off my horse. Needless to say I put 22 f*cking holes in his body with my Evans Repeater. f*ckin' douchedick

I think it adds a nice realistic touch to the game. Didn't it also talk about something that involved a pile of dead bodies and you could choose to investigate or not? I think I remember that from somewhere. If that kind of sh*t happens at night-time, I would be afraid to go out there at night haha

LOL that made me laugh thinking about how I do people on TBoGT multiplayer. I could just be driving around, minding my own damn business, when all of the sudden some c*nt comes out of nowhere and starts shooting at me. What I usually do is come to a dead stop and when they stop too, I'll throw a sticky bomb on their car and speed away and then blow them up. Sometimes when I feel like being an asshole, I'll put a sticky bomb on my car and get somebody to get in my car and then drive them around and suddenly jump out and blow them up.

As for what I'd do after I wounded the farmer though I'd call the cops, wait for them to get there, finish the farmer off in front of the cops, finish the cops off, admire my handy work, then look at the detail on a Barbed Wire fence for a few seconds before his sons found me, then I'd take one of them out and just leave the other one there as I rode off.

 

Anyhow I can't wait for all of the encounters, I'm expecting the countryside will be full of some fun ones.

 

EDIT: @gtafreak10 lol good times. In SA:MP I did similar things with this /eject command a server I played on had, actually a few had, I'd drive my friend up Mt. Chilliad and jump off as normal, but I used the eject command to boot him out of my car, a massive 1000 ft in the air, yelling 'EJECTO SEATO CUZ!' as I did it for the lolz. Complete with the chessy 2F2F reference because I knew it'd make him laugh. We did that to each other for hell of it all the time.

With the car and mount chillard thing, what I love doing is finding someone on normal GTA IV and getting a chopper, flying into the city, going as high as I can and then jumping. This one time I managed to pull that off, get really close to a building and land on it while he descended into the skyrisers.

Out of all the events though I'm most excited for the Hitch Hikers they mentioned. So many ways it could end, most of them not good. Allot of ways to start, maybe the Hitch hikers are after us as well Serial killers and the such, or Car Jackers like in RDR.

 

Imagine going by and seeing some slightly weird looking guy on the side of the road you pull over and he tells you where he's going, and it leads you into the woods. He's saying some weird things like 'Have you ever thought about death, or wondered what a body looks like without it's limbs attached?'

 

Trevor just says "No need to wonder, when I've done it. Explosives, blades...once with farming implements."

 

The hitch hiker gasps, and continues talking about odd things.

 

From there you could either take him to the killing ground and fight him off pull the car over and shoot him, or Dukes of Hazard that car off of a cliff. Alternitively you can get him to a police station. Which when you start going towards one and catches on he strugles. (Like the kidnaping in GTAIV)

 

And LOL, that helicopter thing is something I'd do in IV if I had better online, love doing those type of things. I should have better internet this summer, so I shall be doing that this fall when GTAV comes out, with planes.

I wonder how hard something like that would be to do. You know in Red Dead when you would get random encounters as simple as "Hey, he stole my wagon!" It could probably be just like that, spend too much time on someone else's land and they come for you with a shotgun.

I voted a majority of it, because having people come out to protect their property is a great idea, but you wouldn't call the cops because the guy is trying to stop you from steeling his quad.
