EA engineer says 'the Wii U is crap'

Rumor has it EA lashed out because Nintendo didn't want EA to sell all their crap on their store.

 

"Still 1990, you don't wanna sell our stuff? You're complete sh*t!".

Interesting.... I wonder why nintendo don't want to sell their games.

It's not about wanting to sell their games, EA wanted the entire online infrastructure for the Wii U to be based on Origin with them having complete control. No matter how you feel about EA, Origin or Nintendo, that is a sh*tty proposition and it makes complete sense for Nintendo to deny it.

Thats BS. That wouldnt even be possible as it would include all games even the ones that are not from EA...

Here's a source if you don't believe me. Granted, it is a rumor, but you'll notice that the majority of articles reporting on EA's refusal to publish games on the Wii U mention this rumor as a distinct possibility.

Thanks for the source, but I'd honestly take that with a HUGE grain of salt.

 

Anyone can make stuff up, and the fact that from skim reading it, it seems to have sourced from Reddit makes me a bit weary.

 

Either it's made up, or horribly out of context. (maybe they wanted a similar setup PC has with EA games?)

 

But on topic, no surprise, Wii was crap too. Nintendo has gone extremely cheap/casual.
