Ultim8 Z0mb13
I know 3D isn't for everyone but if you own a 3DTV and you're on these boards, chances are you probably do some 3D Gaming. When I bought my new TV I wanted to watch 3D Blu-ray's on it but discovered that the games are quite good as well, Uncharted 3 and Crysis 2 being the highlights. I wonder if Rockstar could achieve a 3D mode for GTAV, at least on an eventual PC release? Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire on PC both got a 3D Vision mode, so I imagine GTAV will get one but then again it's a more open world game than L.A. and Max 3, so maybe it will be too hardware intensive. I think that a massive game like GTAV is the perfect showcase for 3D. The depth of distant mountains, the amount of civilians and vehicles on screen and the amount of gunfire on screen would be super impressive. I imagine cutbacks would have to made to amounts of AI and anti-aliasing on screen, but I think it would look super cool.

It's actually really good. I love playing first person shooters in 3D. I'm not to big on doing it for long hours, but I will give GTA V it's fair time if it is 3D capable. NBA 2k13 is quite fun as well in 3D.
Lelouch The Zero
NO. Plus 3D isn't good for your eyes. I also heard cases of people getting a headache from playing the 3DS.

Shaunr
that would be cool and it seems like it would be a simple feature to do.
saintsrow
If GTAV includes PS3 stereo 3D capability, it would lead to the sales of a lot of the PS3 3D displays (street price $300). I would be buying one, for sure. But I doubt that Rockstar would bother designing the game for 3D, and there are likely to be some problems with implementing stereo 3D in a third person shooter. The 3DS uses a completely different 3D method, and whether or not you get headaches and such really depends on who you are.
solofme
Yes I would love that feature. When I play in 3D I'm more focused on the game, and that also goes for movies. I get distracted easily (especially during long movies) and with 3d I pay more attention to little details in the world and the overall storyline. Bertanius
I'm not too fussy about 3D, but having Oculus Rift support for PC would be nice.
blakeney
I doubt they will spend any time/resources on this. The industry has spoken on 3D and they have all got off the 3d train... give it <a year and we wont be seeing "new" 3d tv's being made. give it >2years and we wont see them in the shops either.... 3d, while this time around it was alot better then in the 70's... only had money pumped into it this time around as an attempt for the films to have some kind of exclusivity that you can't get off pirate bay... Some (those with a 3d tv) will think I'm playing at being nervous Jerry, but I'm not. I have seen countless industry insiders talk about 3D like it was last years fad.
