un94
Hey guys. Didn't know where to put this thread, therefore I'm posting it here in GTA-V-section. We all know GTA V will be a great game, it will have a big map, much vehicles, weapons, minigames, variety and so on. My question is: I really want a future GTA-game to feature the WHOLE state of San Andreas again. With Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. Perhaps with smaller renditions of San Diego and Malibu, too. With accurate countryside. In GTA V we'll only get Los Santos with countryside and small towns around it. On current consoles I think it's the right decision not to include the whole state of SA, just LS. Gonna be an awesome game! BUT: Will there ever be the whole state again in a future game? What do you think? LS seems to be pretty accurate in GTA V. Perhaps it would be stale if it would be in another future Rockstar game because it would be just the same.. just with other cities. What do you guys think? Is there a chance to have the complete San Andreas state again? I LOVED San Andreas on PC. It had a great feeling with the other cities and countryside in between. I personally think it would be epic to have a new GTA game with the state San Andreas with LS, SF and LV + gigantic, accurate, realistic countryside. BUT: Like I said, I think Los Santos will be done well in GTA V.... will there ever be a Chance of a "San Andreas 2"-game? What do you think? I hope there will be a new game on next-gen which features the whole state.

Lelouch The Zero
Just wait for the PC release, you'll be able to add SF and LV to the new LS yourself!
Lelouch The Zero
Sorry for double post, but I just had a good idea. Maybe for the future games after GTA V, we will have GTA: Las Venturas, then we will have GTA: San fierro. I think that will be a better idea since we will get tired of the same city in each game. KINGDW510
Rockstar said they eventually wanna make a gta with all the cities, LC Ps Vc Sf Lv and maybe more, I wouldn't want just san fierro though I'd want them to put in Oakland too and maybe sacremento, maybe even a little version of reno or lake Tahoe too
ViceCity09
The problem is San Fierro wouldn't have that much character for a GTA game, whereas LS has so much they can parody of.
I<3GTAV
Yes, along with Liberty and Vice. I read at a pretty reliable source that Rockstar wanted to combine all locations into one game in the far future.
HOW'S ANNIE?
The problem is San Fierro wouldn't have that much character for a GTA game If they do it in the late 60's/70's it does
The Notorious MOB
Never say never but my guess is that future games will be focussed on one part of the 3D era map only. I can't really see them doing Las Venturas again unless its a DLC for GTA V. But if they do San Fierro it will most likely incorporate the whole San Francisco Bay Area (probably GTA VI or VII). The 3 cities SF, LA and LV in real life are very far apart so it just wouldn't make sense to have them feature in the same game.
stranger44
I'm totally expecting a mod for the PC version that puts SF & LV in the game.
.dre.
It's the same reason why we didn't have planes in GTA IV and finally parachutes in Ballad of Gay Tony, because they want to put in later to make more money. Granted paying attention to more detail this time is a good thing, but leaving out parachutes in the OG GTAIV was no excuse but to get you to buy the DLCs. They learned from their mistakes with San Andreas.
ed72o
Yeah they learned that not having DLC will make the game fail Oh wait...

.dre.
So the only reason that people bought EFLC was for parachutes? Who'd a thought... Parachutes was just an example. Take out the new cars, weapons, and side activities that could've been put in the original poeple wouldn't have bought into it as much. casual fans making up most of the purchases. CryptReaperDorian
I don't think so. I'm not sure if San Fierro would be too interesting by itself, but I have a feeling that either the next unannounced title or the one after will focus primarily on a redesigned Las Venturas (involving excessive gambling, mafias, and casino heists). EvilFuture
Well, according to a whole bunch of people on here, GTA V will be the whole state just because Xbox magazine said something about police chasing you through the state. I think R* saying LS is the only city about 8 times would be enough to convince people.
acmilano
Maybe for some final GTA game in the future with all the cities from all the games. And SF and LV could have their own games, just look at the Driver:SF and Fallout:New Vegas. Still, hope that at leas one will be set in 70's. cj2000
The problem is San Fierro wouldn't have that much character for a GTA game, whereas LS has so much they can parody of. I disagree, in the very first GTA game SA contained only SF and it worked.

I think what you meaned, is that it make no sence to have all SA cities in one map, beacause of the distance between the cities. So if I understood you right, there is a very simple solution, 3 ore even more maps in the game, containing the coresponding cities, and loadscreens between the maps. d3ex2
I don't see why not. If Rockstar keep making GTA games they will eventually be able to create absolutely huge detailed maps that can accommodate multiple cities.

On PC there is no problem, hard disks >TB will be standard when GTA 6 come out. For the consoles it´s more dificukt, you have to use more then one disk ore may be there will be disks with huge capacity.

ExtremoMania
The problem with San Andreas is that no matter how large the expanse of the area is, some cities look just near by them when in fact in real-life they should hundred of miles away. To make an account for creating a state of that size in real-life, they have to go way beyond the size of current size of Los Santos in V alone and and make more infinite land space to intertwine much larger cities like Las Venturas and San Fierro.
