jamieleng
To be honest, I was sceptical about the release of GTA V around September too but then I realized that I have 8 weeks of summer holiday and only about 2-3 weeks wait for Grand Theft Auto V's release after I return. That's manageable. That gives me plenty of time to do all my work and have the rest of the week dedicated to GTA V's release. -Wheatley Why do you always sign your posts? You could at least put 'Yours Sincerely' before it. Sorry, it's just that there used to be an old forum member on a Duke Nukem forum that used to do it as well. I kept doing it back there and I can't help myself from doing it here. :L I'm only pulling your leg. Duke Nukem forum? So waiting 5 years for GTA V, must've been a walk in the park for you. I wasn't surprised with the game being delayed considering Rockstar have done it plenty times before with other games. I also knew that the game would take a while for it's eventual release looking back at GTA IV's announcement. So waiting for the game wasn't a problem as I had plenty of other games to play in the meantime and I still do. Duke Nukem on the other hand? Well, that's a much longer story. That wasn't a story, that was a saga. Where is Broussard these days? I now actually have more unplayed games than I could properly get through in 4 months (some real quality games too). I'm set really, but if I don't play through them at least once (FC3 & Skyrim will take 2 months probably) then I may never play them after the 17th September, as absurd as that sounds. Putting things into perspective, would anyone want to have GTA V released around important exams or around the time where you pretty much don't do a lot of work? I would definitely choose Option B. Max Payne 3 was released around the time when I had important exams but they didn't go exactly as planned. So to have the game out at a time where you don't have the biggest of distractions or important things to accomplish is the best way to go for anybody. Audiophile
How is this our problem? Do you think anyone cares that just because you have university the game should be delayed? I'm going into my third year of uni on the 3rd of September and guess what? I'll still have free-time in order to play V even with everything that will go on. Tell me, why should the game be delayed for everyone just because you can't control yourself and not buy it/play it until you will have time? World doesn't revolve around you and your wishes man. Game will come out on the 17th and if you're too busy to play it, exercise some self-control like an adult and "delay" it for yourself until whenever you have the time. Algonquin Assassin
Welcome to adulthood. Do you think you're the only university student waiting for GTA V? If you expect everything to be dropped just for you you'll have a tough time dealing with real issues. I'm a unversity student and I'll find time to play it. Do some people lack time management? Just play it when you get free time.

Audiophile
What is the problem with September? How is October better? Wow, a month's difference. The game will come out when it comes out. If it's not a good time for some of you then manage your time better to fit in GTA or just exercise self-control and stay away from the game until it'll be better for you. I don't see why the game has to be delayed for any one individual just to make it more suitable for them. Not trying to sound like a douche here, but honestly?
