I have a problem with getting wav files to play, nothing happens when I try to play them. Here is the code: :Intro3wait 0 ms03CF: load_wav 'BUD1_1' as 303CF: load_wav 'BUD1_2' as 403CF: load_wav 'BUD1_3' as 5if and03D0: wav 3 loaded 03D0: wav 4 loaded 03D0: wav 5 loaded else_jump @Intro3:Intro400BC: text_highpriority 'LOADED' 5000 ms 103D1: play_wav 3repeatwait 0 msuntil 03D2: wav 3 ended03D1: play_wav 4repeatwait 0 msuntil 03D2: wav 4 ended03D1: play_wav 5repeatwait 0 msuntil 03D2: wav 5 ended The text is displayed so it seems like it loads them alright but they never play. Jack Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 As far as I know a wav file in Vice City main.scm or CLEO will be played only if you use numbers 1 or 2 (or if you use a variable that contains one of those 2 numbers) which could be a problem in case you decide to activate more then 2 wav sounds at once - then you would have to use at least number 3 so the wav with that number (or higher) would never work. Thanks for your reply. However this seems to make very little sense to me - the original GTA main.scm loads wav files as $1177 something. But perhaps no more than 2 wav files can be loaded at the same time? That would make sense to me. In any case I changed the code according to what you said but now it gets stuck on the loading part and never makes the jump to display text/play wav.
