@ Trinette. I think you're right on with the fact that adding real world elements could make it pretty cool without taking the fun out of the game. Similar to like what you said about getting dirty, etc. I think it would be a cool element to add things like dehydration, etc.. So like if you're trekking through the desert for days (10+real time mins) without stopping your character's vision, etc starts to blur, starts stumbling, etc.

I agree it would be nice to have details like that. Anyhow the last group of previews mentioned being able to get dynamic scars and cuts that show up so anything is possible.

As for my I'm most likely going to start as Michael first chance I get and get the nicest car I can find and go straight for the country putting the top down if it's a convertible. Just cruise though the windy hills of Vinewood and out into the desert and then the woods listening to music, then turn that off and put the dynamic score on as I go though it.

After that day time soirée into the country turns into an aggressive nighttime drive though the winding roads and open highways, I'll go back into Los Santos near night, get a gun from a cop...go on a small tame chase, and then see what can be done at one of those garages, and then get onto the storyline.

Mention Michael since he'll be nearer to nicer cars being in the nicer area of town. That and it can function as an escape from his family.

Didn't vote, because you didn't add an "other, please specify" option.

I will head to an airport, and see how hard it wil be to get a plane. If I get one, without being wanted, WOOOOOOOOOO, fun time exploring!

I will try to fly as sober as possible, until I manage to find another plane, in which case I will promptly exit my vehicle, and watch the spectacle slam into a building into a raging fireball. Parachute. Get new plane. Continue.

Shouldn't you be playing Microsoft flight simulator?

Is it odd, that when I clicked this I couldn't choose and screamed "I'm going everywhere, MOTHERF*CKER!"

I think my whole street thinks I'm crazy. But yeah, pretty much just go everywhere...at once.

I'm going straight to the hood first. I wanna get familiar with the various gang sets in the city. Maybe get into my first shoot out too.

I'm a fly boy myself. Hence the username. I'm always excited to get access to planes as soon as possible. But this time around I'll let the game take me wherever it wants me to go. After the introductory missions I'll probably head for the top of Vinewood and take a good look at the wonderful explorations that awaits me.

I'll steal a muscle car, customize it a bit, start going on the highway towards the desert, switch to the classic rock station and just drive.

I'm going to nab the first car I see, as the first character the give me control of, and I'm going to drive around aimlessly. I may run some people over. I may test the cops new AI, see how long it takes to lose them. I may get into a few fist fights, or just run around the beach and push people. I don't know. But I can tell you this. Whatever I do, I'm going to do it for HOURS.

as Michael do the first missions, keep a bike, and ride around the beach,go into local shops, but can't buy anything because i have no money (0000$) go back home, save (or switch to franklin)

as Franklin, Walk Through the hood, see what's going on and how life has changed from '92 to now. (and if franklin has a car, ill go straight to work starting the first mission for him.)

Trevor go around harrassing people, beating the sh*t outtaa people, immediately start jacking cars, not giving a f**k about consequences then die.(thu, knowing how the wasted screen is....)

It depends on what I'm closest to when I take control after the introduction mission. I want to see the beach, Sandy Shores, Ganton, and explore the mountains.

Capricornus

I will head to the ghetto/hood first and explore and spend time there. After that I will head up to Rockford Hills and Vinewood. I will save the countryside for last, for I know I will spend a sh*t load of time there.

I've put Vinewood Hills cause it'd be sick cruising through there as Michael! But after that, I dunno if I'd want to get a plane and explore, or explore as much as possible on the ground first. Depends on the size and grandeur of the map, as I don't really know what to expect from it yet. I've got a feeling it will be HUGE but empty

i decided to pop RDR in today to get a bit of a open-worldy fix, i'd forgotten just how good this game looks. One of the things that struck me then, and now, is whilst the landscape is empty (it's a wilderness!), the detail is considerable.

This is where R* excels over almost everyone else, the depth of detail in their worlds is considerable.

I expect LS will be as detailed, if not more so, as LC, and if the countryside is as detailed as RDR, i'll be happy.

It depends on where I start. If the game starts in the city, I will stay there for a while. If it starts in the ghettos, I will stay their for a while, etc....

Chris Fromage! I'm definitely looking for your compound the second an opportunity presents itself. I think I have the will to resist Epsilon's temptations but you never know. Kifflom Brother Uncle!

I'd like to start my adventure Downtown. The reason for this is because since IV was comprised of downtown areas only, I will be so excited to see different environments such as desert, countryside, mountains, suburbs/the hood, etc. But I want to gradually work my way to these areas, so I can experience a true transition between environments. IV's a city game, so by starting my GTAV adventure in Downtown, and then gradually expanding to other types of environments, this transition will be symbolic of switching from GTA IV to V, giving me a feeling of just how different V's environment is from IV's.

I normally go straight to the first mission and start them off, they normally give me a general idea of the map first. Then, after 3 or 4 missions, head to the mountains i think.
