ColePhelps27
Who is able to download games before release, not sure exactly how it's done but apparently it involves something called "j-tag"? Known him for a while now and at first I was thought he was full of sh*t but he showed me his YouTube channel and I remember when he uploaded Max Payne 3 gameplay videos a few days before it was out. He says he will be able to get V a few days before release. Is anyone else able to do this? Here's the channel for the curious: http://www.youtube.com/user/halfcraft/videos?view=0 He told me he will upload the first scene to prove it. Miss Darko
People have their ways on getting their hands on games early. That's how the leaks just a few days before the game's release happen. So I wouldn't be that surprised.

Los Santos Fire
Some games get leaked early onto the net and can be illegally (as in - you can go to jail if caught) downloaded and burned to a disc. You have to have a specially modified xbox to play these disc. This is called "piracy".
ColePhelps27
Fair enough. Hopefully he will keep his word. I'll advise in early September if the video is up for anyone interested. It will probably get banned in a few minutes.
reform
is this just baiting the community to try and get more channel views?

ColePhelps27
is this just baiting the community to try and get more channel views? No, not my channel. Wish I knew how to do that though, I'd be saving a fair bit per year on games. Check the dates on the channel if you want.

wwinterj
Can't say I care for this. By the time I've downloaded the game it'll be out. Besides when I order online I get the game a day or two early anyway most the time.

Bertanius
I think this is just an advertising tactic. How come this topic hasn't been locked? Does it really matter if your friend can play a game a few days earlier? It's not like it's an essential to how you live. Do you really think doing this is how you get views on YouTube? It's not, it's how you get disliked in the community.

You'd think they would try and work out who leaks the games. Not worth it I guess...

Considering I posted a picture of my dick a few weeks ago and it didn't get deleted for hours I wouldn't count on it for a few more minutes at least. Not my channel, if it was why would I bother posting videos of copyrighted material? I couldn't earn anything off it. Feel free to flag his videos for kicks. I was merely pointing out that this is a touchy subject, and was surprised to see it not locked (such topics usually get deleted actually) Perhaps it's because you're only talking ABOUT it, and not directly asking for/linking to it. Bertanius
Alright new question; How many of you will watch the leaked gameplay that will be circulating? There's no guarantee that leaked gameplay will emerge. As for me, I will refrain from viewing gameplay. I will also have to wait even longer since I am getting it for PC. brian.
The guy simply works somewhere like a game store, a distributing warehouse before the game gets to the store, or otherwise somewhere between the game developers and the store shelves. He steals a copy early and plays it. Case closed.
