Generally no. However, there are some things they could go more realistic on. I am a proponent that the cops enforce speeding, running lights and such, pull over you get a ticket, don't and the chase is on. I do think that gas should be an option within the game. i just want the GTA world to seem as lively as possible. But those are the only two real life aspects I would bring into the game. And I'm on the fence about the traffic law thing, better they don't include that, it may slow the game down, but I would love fuel in though. With all the rage over high gas prices they could even satire it.

I'm going to have to live in GTAV for the next 8 years until another GTA game comes out, and I'm going to need a lot of stuff to do there.

Let there be gas, but only make us fill it up after hundreds of miles.

 

Let there be traffic laws but only make the cops give a squeel about us breaking them 10% of the time.

Really?! I've always wondered who would play those kind of games 

I do lol. Not all of them, but I like the farming sims, although they leave alot to be desired. Lol

I thought this was a parody picture until I looked it up. Actually, it looks like it could be fun, though, as you say, it seems like these sims (farming, railroad, racing, SimCity, etc) sometimes have a lot of detail to manage, but don't seem to have a full range of fun things to do. That's what makes GTA games 1000% better than other games, the true openness. Plus, the cool thing about GTA games are that Rockstar typically packs 4 or 5 games worth of activities into each GTA, making them a great value.

 

And, when old executives retire, sometimes they want to go back to the simple life and play farmer, buy a small farm and drive around on their tractors. Maybe a farm in the country will be Michael's happy ending. Just like John Marston....

 

And maybe there will be tractor customization!

Well, R* did say they Wont stop until they simulate real life but i think they mean in terms of NPCs interacting with you and doing their own stuff, and having a job, etc...

Since the neckbeard realism topic got locked in the middle of my witty reply, I will add it here:

 

 

I'm a neckbeard and I want GTAV realism.  I'm spending my time in GTAV, not in real life.  Doing these things in real life is too dangerous.  I've only gotten 6 stars once in real life, and I gotta tell you, I don't want to do that again. 

 

Also, one has to realize that some of the people on this forum actually walk among us, on the streets of our town, in the aisles of the grocery store.  How f*cking scary is that?  How can you feel safe in real life when these kinds of people are out there?  You make eye contact with them, and they will likely will go postal on you.  I'm staying in my basement where it's safe. 

 

And besides, I'm looking forward to customizing my neckbeard in GTAV.
