An interesting scheme of the game is Gang Wars, this is to help those with difficulties.

1. ALWAYS keep a sniper rifle,desert eagle,combat shotgun,minigun

2. Keep your distance, if you are too close without something that kicks A**, you'll become dead meat in seconds. rampage_ani.gif

3. Avoid big blips, which are cars.

4. find a sniping spot, jetpack comes in handy(type rocketman)

5. take your time, keep an escape route

6. shoot a few ballas and vagos for me. biggrin.gif

That's all, now if don't follow my advice, you're a NAZI! devil.gif

Mini-Gun doesn't blow up foes hidden behind hedges/walls/under decks. The RPG Missile launcher is a much better choice. The RPG will also make the dead bodies fly like superman, wiping out groups rather than one at a time.

Desert Eagle is fine when the skill level allows for one-shot, one-kill.

• The combat shotgun (any shotgun for that matter) gets CJ killed when more than one target is in range. If you must use/carry a shotgun the standard shotgun is the better. The pause for reloading the others is too long for gang wars.

• Acquire a Police Motorcycle for transport. The sub-mission ability is good for stopping Counter-Attacks in the taken zones. Plus, the quick ability to get those pesky 'trapped' foes.

Molotov Cocktails (with a Fireproofed CJ) is excellent for close in and around the corner defense. Also, good for hidden behind walls, hedges, under decks foes.

• The Sniper-Rifle is great for starting a war in a zone that doesn't have foes. Snipe the three guys you see in other zones to start the war where you need it.

Rpg's good, but for mowing down those assholes, Minigun breaks the record.

as for walls and other stuff, toss a grenade.

molotov's aren't reliable, cuz' guys on fire tend to run straight at you, also, it takes an eon to put out fires.fireproofing's a good trick.

For me, a sniper rifle is the most reliable, b'cuz when I'm on a high structure, enemies fall like bowling pins.

thanks for reminding about the shotgun, though.

Why risk missing when 'mowing down'? A single blast from the rocket takes out the group.

Grenades? CJ isn't proofed and can take damage. The Molotov is quicker and safer since CJ is safe in the blast zone. When the foes are on fire they can't shoot.

The mini-gun is cute but not as effective in wars.

Listen to lil weasel. He knows what he's talking about.

Did someone tell you to interfere? anyway, I've been doing this since the past 6 years so I know what I'm talking about.

I have to disagree; the minigun is effective if used properly. Do not initiate the targeting reticle, just fire it side to side like a sprinkler. While maintaining distance, of course. I've always had bad judgment with the grenades, thus I use molotovs and even then, that's rare for me. Although time consuming, you can run from the attackers, pollute the path with satchel charges and detonate when they (the enemies) get in range. Most often, I just skyrocket my ammo using the shooting range glitch and orchestrate drive-bys using the bullet-proof Tahoma.

These are my favorite weapons for 4-star gang wars -- gang wars in zones added to the LV and SF and fought when those areas are still restricted. Often there is a trade-off of features; I can see how others would prefer a different line-up.

The mini-gun is my preferred heavy weapon. Anything you can see can be hit with a mini-gun. I use it primarily to provoke gang wars in hurry. Getting the war started quickly means safety from the cops and free health and armor. The mini-gun is a good panic mode weapon when suddenly encountering a large group up close.

I run with sawed-off shotguns. Mostly because I don't want to scroll through a lower slot that can't sprint. But they are also good for one-hit run and gun action. No shotgun is good too; less stuff to scroll through.

I carry Molotovs as a fire damage weapon that can kill targets glitched into walls. However, grenades are good to keep handy in zones where the targets might spawn underwater.

Sniper-Rifle for cowards. The targets that run away basically make this a required weapon. It is also useful for getting peds to spawn in a distant zone.

Melee: Any that allows sprinting. Grab a night-stick, they are usually easy to find.

I like the 9mm Pistol for when I want to sprint and shoot and have the SMG instead of the Micro-SMG.

Micro-SMG and SMG. I try to collect every pickup that spawns in a gang war. There are so many drops involved that the pickup pool can fill up fairly quickly if you run a lot of wars without doing anything else. Money drops show the effects fairly soon. Instead of lots of little piles you'll find one pile with more in it. Eventually the weapons will do the same thing. As it gets worse the weapons will disappear when CJ isn't looking at them to make room for new drops. What I especially want to avoid the disappearance of the health and armor that spawn between waves. I depend on those pickups to keep CJ healthy.

The AK-47 is my primary weapon. I prefer the M4 in other situations but I want to snag the weapon drops during gang wars. I don't like to have too much ammo and have the clip count disappear, and I can get rid of uzi ammo at the Blood Bowl, so I try to use as much assault ammo as I can.

No gifts or equipment. It just gets in the way. Use the parachute if necessary.

The Jetpack is a great help for 4-star gang wars. It provides fairly safe transport and CJ can always take the high-ground. But it's biggest advantage is that CJ can't be run over by frighten drivers or the cops that suddenly spawn at the end of the war. You can keep the jetpack from disappearing by backing over it while holding aim. When you drop the aim CJ can fly away -- hopefully with the Micro-SMG so he can still shoot.

I was never a RPG or a sniper person.

I like the tough difficulties, using the DE, Minigun, Spaz-12(Combat Shotgun), etc...

Did I say I was interfering as you so bluntly put it? This is an open forum so quite frankly I don't care if I am interfering, which I am not.

So you have been doing it for 6 years and it took you 6 years to finally report your findings? Lil weasel has played it lot longer than you buddy. Anyway we all know how to beat gang wars in our own way. It's nothing new.

Personally I just use an M4 and take out big groups with molotovs. That's the only 2 weapons I need. This is from my 3 years experience and yes, I have taken all territories that way. But I don't bother doing the whole gang war thing anymore, it takes forever

Look, it's been 2 years since I got Internet and a few months since I signed up for Gtaforums, sorry for saying that you were interfering though.
