richard1997jones
Anyone who has played San Andreas will know what I'm talking about when I mention the armoured train. If we completed a journey on a train mission within a certain amount of time we made thousands and when we completed the missions and went round the map once we got $50,000 so should this be brought back for GTA V? DODI3OG
I don't think we'll be making that much money in GTA V. Take into consideration that GTA V's theme is about the modern-day crisis. We might get big moneys like a hundred thousand dollars from missions but, I doubt we'll be able to abuse those kind of missions.

Think the sidemissions are going to be a big money maker. Or if the rumours true selling our cars.
wwinterj
I don't think we'll be making that much money in GTA V. I disagree. R* have said in GTA V there is a lot of ways to spend your cash so giving you not much of it would be counterproductive. Heist missions that are a success will no doubt pay out a lot. I'm sure there will more more than enough ways to make money unlike real life.
Input
I would think with the small liquor store type robberies, we could make some quick easy money. But then again, we may have to go through some kind of "cooldown" before doing another.

HudS
Rockstar confirmed that you could earn up to millions of dollars from a single heist. Maybe the big one at the end. But I doubt the first one from the start. Well if a house cost a million or two and a sports car for 500k i think its possible. Remeber that there's three characthers now and everyone of them have their own money. So if you earn 6M$ on a heist it will be divided by three so thats 2. And if a good car costs about 500k and a big estate costs a mil or two i think that's very possible to earn a few mil after a heist.

We dont drive them because we are to scared it gets stolen.

DODI3OG
We might get millions of dollars in the game but, we might not be able to redo that mission for sometime because we'll have to learn to CONSERVE our money(modern day crisis/pursuit of the almighty dollar). Anyway, how will the game keep its theme of "pursuit of the almighty dollar" if we get to abuse profits? The profit system might be realistic this time around unlike the "profit storming" system of the past GTAs. I wonder at what rate Amanda spends Michael's money. Also, how would the rest of the game feel after we've got Billions at our disposal? Will it still follow the "pursuit of the almighty dollar" theme or the latter's just applied to the story of GTA V? But remember to prepare the heist, hire extra help we also have to pay. Some for customization. Michael's wife is spending all his money away so I guess we start when it reaches its all time low. wwinterj
I'm not even saying we wont have that much to SPEND ON. We're talking about GAINING and not spending, EINSTEIN! I was talking about GAINING also. I can only assume you're not English. I'll elaborate. Giving you all these things to spend money on and not a lot of money is counterproductive so naturally we will have more than enough cash and more than enough ways to earn it. Better? "EINSTEIN!". lava lamp
i think we will be making a lot of money by the end, at least i hope so. But i think there will be a LOT more things to spend it on. i think Rockstar have worked out that in all other GTAs once you've completed the story you just have piles of money, thats kind of pointless when you have nothing to spend it on so why would you work to get money. Im hoping that there are things that you will always have to pay for so you've always got a reason to play the game

Well, I hope you're not easily offended like a bunch of kids here in the Forums. I think you also missed a few of my points in that post, HITLEREINSTEIN. What I was saying is we might gain large amounts of money at SOME points in contrast to the previous GTAs in w/c it happened FREQUENTLY. And yes, you're right, we'll have a lot of things to spend our money on, but it'll still give us that "save your money" thought after spending too much of it. And yes, I'm a Filipino and I'm speaking in Filipino English w/c was derived from Proto-American English(Modern American English sucks, look at YouTube!).
