Trevor_Phillips.
I finally decided to buy GTA4 for the computer since i had it on ps3 since launch the complete edition was hard to resist at 10$ but i noticed that the game doesnt have a dual GPU support & its very unstable goes from 60 to less in seconds GTX590 is a good graphics card i never had a problem in other games like the witcher2 & battlefield3 ran on everything maxed out what settings do i tweak? or lower to get it running stable
Extronic
well now you know that IV is just a poorly coded console port, so it will consume all your computing power and surely will ask for more. And yes, it makes no sense to use a dual graphics here, IV is gonna treat that card as 580, utilizing only half of what is available. However, 580 is still a decent card itself, it would be nice of you to post what processor you have, so ppl might come up with suggestions. unc13bud
dude, you will have to search the forum and the internet for GTA IV systems like yours compatible with the game. GTA IV working with sli or crossfire has always been iffy, some say it works (sli or crossfire) with patch 1.0.7.0 some say it doesn't - some say it works with hyperthreaded CPUs, others say it doesn't. i haven't seen any documentation anywhere that says GTA IV uses more than four physical cores
