sivispacem
4). The EU is sh*t. Look at England, they simply refuse to pay with the Euro, and still drive on the left side on the road. Also, here in The Netherlands, one party is making plans to get us out of the EU, it would save us over 500.000.000.0000, and more than 50% of the Dutch people said they would leave the EU if they could. Not saying it will happen, but it would be f*cking great. Also look at Greece, we still need more money. If it would happen, I wouldn't know how f*cking fast I would need to move out, but it would be fast. It's funny how anti-EU people always come out with these statistics about how much the EU "costs" which entirely ignore all of the financial benefits of it. Very disingenuous. But hey, I don't really expect critics of the EU to actually have a coherent understanding of the economics or statistics surrounding it because their views are generally based on irrational prejudice and who needs factual accuracy or logical reasoning when you can slander other people based on what side of an artificial boundary they were born on. Anyway, enough with the debate on the merits or otherwise of the EU. If you want a discussion of that nature I'll move the thread to D&D. That 50 Billion number emerged from a report ordered by the xenophobic jingoistic political laughing stock of the country, and it was conducted by an infamously eurosceptic macroeconomic research company, yeah no bias there whatsoever.. And even if there really wasn't any bias, the report is inconclusive and only shows half of reality. Of course the half detailing what EU countries, in this case Holland pay. However the half that economically actually matters, the benefits which are gigantic for a country the size of Holland, is casually disregarded. Misbegotten cad
Britain will make it impossible for EU to unify. You see, Britain is USA:s lapdog in the European affairs. And as USA does not want European unity, they have ordered UK to act as a brake in all affairs that would unify EU further. Just look at all unification proposals made in the last years: UK is always against them, even though they would do good to EU and would strenghten EU. So, as long as UK is in EU affairs, they will keep fighting against the unity of EU, and will make it impossible for EU to become one nation. Yep, UK really is a lapdog to USA. When US government says jump, the effeminate brits say 'how high, oh master' and then simper about like mindless sycophants. For shame.

For shame indeed because it was Churchill who advocated for the United States of Europe after WW2.
