lhreetegs Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 In GTA IV we had 95 missions, In GTA San Andreas we had 105 missions and now in GTA V that we have 3characters to use and the map is much bigger than the previous GTAs how many missions do you expect? MikeyBelic Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Well a preview said there's about 24 hours of story (Main missions) and a good mission should take you about 20 minutes (and trust me these missions will be missions for men) so doing the maths there should be around 75 healthy and fulfilling missions. I have read many news about the games, seems like R* thinks 95 missions in IV is too much and in V, R* seems to focus on different ways of finishing main missions and the side missions... Main story missions, side missions, dynamic missions, side-quests, activities (probably not that)? If we're talking about all the heists missions & each protagonist's individual story missions, I'd estimate 90-110. If it's everything I mentioned above, then 200-250. The thing you have to remember is, the main missions will be a lot more varied than IV & some can be completed in different ways. Then on top of that, missions featuring more than one protagonist, will give you the opportunity to view them from different perspectives & offer different gameplay from the same mission. So if like me, you replay (then purposely fail) missions just to hear different in car (journey) dialogue, this sounds like a dream. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Many of IV missions were nothing but filler. I do believe R* had said the story is a bit shorter but missions are more longer and have more variety so it all sounds promising.
