v17
I am not getting at people that seek hidden messages in the trailers, screenshots and announcements. It is great fun while waiting between silent gaps of no information. I am however surprised R* don't actually milk this... Like the whole 24 / 5 / 12 or whatever the hell it was in that trailer, people were adding numbers like no tomorrow and trying to find secret messages. Wouldn't it be great if this became a real actual RockStar tradition? In the next GTA to put hidden messages throughout the trailers and screenshots. Is this the map outline? What do these numbers mean?? It creates a really strong vibe about the game and not to mention the huge viral marketing potential. I mean YouTube has been overflowing with conspiracy videos marketing the game. So i'm just interested who does and doesn't share these views. Would you like to see this in the next instalment of GTA? Would you like to see a small hint in the GTA V manual of where the next direction will be?
saintsrowrules
I still haven't found a connection between the image and V. I wonder what R* were/are on about there.
Happyness
My guess is that that is the shape of.. half of the map? Or a quarter?
RandomNoun
I don't think this obsessive search for clues represents a healthy portion of the fan base though. I think it just represents the weirdo minority ... us lot.

I'm saying if RockStar actually did this, it would be quite a nice quirky thing and also have huge marketing benefits. EDIT: Not to mention keeping the fan base busy. Look at the fan base, we collect databases of all weapons we have seen, cars and locations!

I mean, there wasn't much to gain from analysing it in the first place ...
