SmoothGetaway
I'll play story mode until I get some cool toys or find a fun area to muck around in. Since I don't know how the story starts that could take 5 min or 5 hours. Either way it'll be at my own pace, and I don't mind pressing the new game button at all. I did that at least a dozen times for all GTA's from III onward, and RDR.
TotesMagotes
I still haven't finished IV, those missions got real boring. Hoping V will be better.
meta187
I typically do. I play a few storyline missions to get started then run around the map checking off loads of tasks and side activities, then "reward" myself by playing a couple of more storyline missions. When the end is in site I settle up all my loose ends before proceeding past 99%. Pretty much the way I've always done it. ~ Studio: Q-13 Lounge / Q:13 Warrior Tunes / Interweb Chex Mix, yo.~
Racecarlock
The truth is I don't really play GTA games for the story. Sure, there are some awesome missions which is why I still do play the story, but in the end what makes GTA GTA is the stuff you can do outside of missions. I'm free roaming in BOGT right now. Kushi_Pete
I'll try to play it with the ingame time: On workweeks: Save/sleep 24:00 Wake up 06:00 Walk, drive or do a side activity 07:00 Go do a mission at 18:00 If there's time after the mission do something fun. Save/sleep 24:00. On weekends: After a mission on Friday, go get drunk or something. Saturday: Hang out with friends. Sunday: Go to the beach or do play something relaxing like golf. And so on. I tried it while playing TBOGT and it was pretty cool.
