How long will your first session be?

I will play until I can`t feel my thumbs anymore. I just hope my console won`t die on me in the process. I have a 3 year old Xbox 360 Elite. Not even going to turn it on until GTA 5 is in my hands.

 

P.S. Anyone have a suggestion to avoid RRoD? I will be so mad if I will get that thing 10 minutes after I put the disc in my console.

 

EDIT: Can`t wait for PC release. If R* will release a DLC (most likely they will) I will buy all of them, but for PC.

RROD happens when your xbox overheats, so keep it in an open and well-ventilated area (not on a shelf, or in a closed area); since you have an elite, you could buy an external fan, though this increases noise (and doesn't work with slims). Finally, don't have it on non-stop, though it can survive for well over 12 hours if the ventilation is fine; that's the max I've had mine on for

Have a day off on the 17th

Will buy the game at 08.30 am and then play (after driving home, installing, which then might start at 10.00 am) till 06.00 pm - then I have to pick up my girlfriend at her work. After having dinner I will play another 4-5 hours. Can't wait for the day to come!

I did. I can be up as long as I like but I can't game upstairs after 9pm because my setup is next to my parents' bedroom where also sleep 2 of my little brothers. One thing's for sure. I won't study a minute at home when the game comes.

Depends if I get it at midnight or not. Monday night I'll have a short sleep. Maybe an hour or two. Wake up at 11PM and head down to the store to pick up the game and a sh*t load of drinks/snacks. Get back home about 1PM and load the game up and keep playing for as long as possible. I'll have the 17th free so I can play for ~22-23 hours straight if I wanted.

 

If I get the game delivered then it won't arrive until the post comes at 10/11AM. So will only have 12-13 hours to play.

 

Once the weekend arrives (20th-22nd) then I could play for 55 hours straight if I wanted. I will definitely do 24 but my aim is 48 (all day Saturday and Sunday)

Well, it releases on a tuesday, so i'm in school.

 

No idea what times i have since it's a new school...

 

I guess i'm home around 4 or something and i'll be playing until 11 because i have a hard time getting up in the morning if i go to bed later when i need to wake up early... Damn school.

I can't get it at midnight because the local shopping centre will be closed but when I pick it up I will be playing it for a good 8 hours, surrounded by empty coffee mugs and other caffeine flavoured drinks

I'll play until I need to go to bed to get a decent sleep, as I have to go to work the next day. I don't function well, and earning a living is more important than playing some game (even GTA) until my eyes explode.
