kj2022
I can pretty much find my way around every GTA map which is 3d, it's been a while since I played the 2d games so I'm uncertain. it'll probably take me about 4 days to memorize the city, then a couple of weeks to find every shortcut across the entire map. wwinterj
Just like anything the more you use it/do it the more you remember it. If you play GTA V a lot as I'm sure we all do overtime you will know the map like the back of your hand just like any other game.

Hugef1
There are bits of LC I still don't know, and I've played for 100s of hours online and off. I'm pretty bad at memorising things like this.
PhillBellic
For those that think they know LC well you should try turning off the mini map. I done that once and it surprised me how difficult it was to get from one location to another just by memory alone. There's an over reliance of the GPS in GTA IV which makes it easy to overlook how gridlocked the city streets are. The only map I could say I know like the back of my hand is VC and GTA III to a lesser extent. GTA IV and SA in particular make me think a bit more. Hey Miamivicecity did you read this article? Kotaku Article Turning off the GPS/radar certainly added to the challenge of actually learning about the map and overall geography of the city. Cheers.
