Rate GTA V before it comes out!

Realistically I'd expect it to get 9.2-9.8

 

It's not always a question of "well, it's better than the last game, so it must score higher", because GTAIII got a 97 on metacritic, and VC and SA both got 95s.

 

GTAIV getting 10's was a bit of a joke. I fully expect V in reality to be strides ahead of IV, but that isn't always reflected in the reviews from some of these terrible sites and magazines.

I rounded up to 10. I expect it to get ~9.7/8.

 

Oh, and to those saying that it shouldn't get a ten because ten is for 'perfect games':

1. No game is perfect

2. As I've said previously, it's a scale on recommendation, not quality of game directly - 10 being 'buy this game. Now.' and 9 being 'really good game, if you like this genre this should be on your wishlist' and so on.

GTA IV got a ten, so GTA V gets a ten automatically or else the journalist who rates it less is not trustworthy - if your establishment gave GTA IV a ten, V must get a ten, or else you're untrustworthy because V is so clearly much, much more game than IV was.

I voted a 10 simply because IV got the same score. For it to get lower than IV will make no logical sense.

They gave IV a perfect score at every reputable place out there. Indeed, it is only logical to distrust any outlet that rates it lower than IV, with this much iteration, with this much more GTA now put back into the game, they have to give it a ten, or they lied then, or are lying now lol.
