That's a lot of people saying "Yes" despite Rockstar Games saying early on that they aren't out to surpass the stories of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption since that would be nearly impossible.

 

So, I don't think the story will be better than the story in those two games, but I'm sure it'll still be quite epic.

Im going into this game with low expectations on purpose because Im hoping that when it comes the damn game will blow my f*cking mind. Im on edge seeing these f*cking geriatrics as main characters though. It might still turn out to be pretty cool hopefully.

I beg to differ. IV was easily better than VC (I'm not even going to mention SA because that had a very, very weak plot). I agree that RDR had a better one though.

just to clarify im not talking about overall best game just the storyline i personally don't think it will top Iv storyline wise because i think it will be like san andreas in the sense rockstar  will focus more on gameplay rather than the  story.

No cause Rockstar doesn't want to focus on one character so with that in mind the story won't be the best.

So the story can't be good because the game focuses on 3 characters simultaneously?

I think the interactions between the 3 characters and their friends/related characters will make the story that much more enjoyable.

I believe it will be the best story in GTA so far. Each character has alot of depth already, their separate stories with their families and friends mixing with the core of the game which is heists and how these guys do it, why they do it and what goes wrong and how will they get out of that sh*t in the end.. it all sounds much better than past gta games to me.

Yeah. It's like earlier GTA stories, only 3 in 1. So yeah I think it will have the best story line ever.

Each charecter has there own storyline with michaels being most interesting then there is another story bringing them alltogether

Michael- Retired criminal who is rich, wife is spending his money and he doesnt understand his kids, with domestic life drivinig him crazy and money going quick michael decided toget back into the game. He also has an unknown story going on with the police.

Main enemiies- FIB

 

Trevor- Complete nutter living in a trailer, major drug dealer who doesnt really care about tommorow, not mych to trevors story but his charecter is very interesting and I wanna see how he agrees to do the heists and what he does with the money.

Main enemy- bikers

 

Franklin: An adrenline junk, young and ambitious guy who wants to get out the ghetto and move up the criminal ladder but his friends keep dragging him down, a little like san andreas but still a good story.

Main enemy- Ballas

 

Michael himself prob has the best story then any previous charecter. Byt with all these major personalities coming together to do these heists will be very interesting and to seeif any of them get greedy leading to a possible twist.
