Are u Expecting Gta V To have the best Storyline?

just to clarify im not talking about overall best game just the storyline i personally don't think it will top Iv storyline wise because i think it will be like san andreas in the sense rockstar will focus more on gameplay rather than the story.

No cause Rockstar doesn't want to focus on one character so with that in mind the story won't be the best.

Tough call. GTA IV is the best storyline a GTA game has had to date in my opinion as it did make you care about the character.I do believe GTA V will top that though been as it had three separate story's and one overlapping story. Providing the story doesn't try and do to much at once and get confusing I believe it'll be better.

I believe it will be the best story in GTA so far. Each character has alot of depth already, their separate stories with their families and friends mixing with the core of the game which is heists and how these guys do it, why they do it and what goes wrong and how will they get out of that sh*t in the end.. it all sounds much better than past gta games to me.

I don't think that it's that simple. The amount of protagonists doesn't matter that much as long as it's not more than let's say three of them. In fact, multiple protagonists can have a positive impact on the storyline, it can increase the replay value and it's possible to see missions from multiple point of views, three in this case. Rockstar stated that one of the protagonists is also the antagonist so we can imagine what could happen for example. If you think about it, then it's logical because it can easily happen that one person is doing something that others don't like which means in this case; one protagonist is doing something that the other two don't like/want. It won't be simple to beat the storyline of Niko Bellic in GTA IV as it had depth that we haven't seen before in the franchise but it's not impossible. I think that GTA San Andreas is a prime example for how many flaws the story can have because some of the missions contradicted CJ's decisions and the background story wasn't all that great either. However, having multiple protagonists lowers the chance that certain missions just feel like space fillers and that is clearly an advantage for the story in general, rather than a disadvantage.

I was not really satisfied with the storyline of IV. The first half was great, the second half was underwhelming and kinda "confusing". So yeah, I expect a better storyline for V and I hope that it will succeed.

Not really, from what I've heard the heists are all different. Then you can buy others base on their skill which will always change the outcome of a heist. Imagine having one heist with the weakest then having one with the stronger skilled. It changes the outcome.

The best and certainly one of the longest. It bothers me the previews said that GTAV will take about the time you had to complete RDR. A bit disappointing though.

Yes you would. The game just reloads a checkpoint before the point of no return or dismisses the storys ending

 

I really believe it will be the players choice as to who turns on who if it happens.

Max Payne 3 is R*'s best story so far,if V will be similar to Heat or Reservoir Dogs then it's going to top MP3.

I think the story will be great, maybe even the best in the GTA series, but not the best of all R* Games.

San Andreas is my favorite story far. I think V has a good chance of beating it though, it looks like it will mix elements from Heat, Training Day, and Breaking Bad. That seems awesome to me.
