GTA-King
Lyrics ♫ You sit alone... ...and watch your light. ♫ Michael's obsession with classic films translates into in-game set pieces based on real world movies. In the demo the three characters mount a heist very similar to the one from Heat. Seems Michael is a fan of classic films. I like. Especially since it seems we can ACTUALLY watch them on the TV in the game. Going to feel like a real boss coming home after a heist and watching a nice classy action film. Little things like that are going to make V amazing to me. I'm loving how classy Michael is becoming. I mean, just look at his trailer. The song is from Queen! Getting a real 80's vibe, which is great! Me personally I'm hoping for some classy gangster films (black & white). You simply can't beat those! R* could make a good one, I think. Just look at L.A. NOIRE. Maybe we could get a film inspired by this gem (one of my favorites): What kind of classy action movies do you guys want to watch in V as Michael, and how do you think his obsession with them will contribute to the story? IDredMan
My only friend, through teenage nights. And eeeverything, I had to know. I heard it on the raaaaaadiooo! The song fits Michael so god damn well, especially the part where's it's: You've had your time, You have the power. You've yet to have your finest hour. TheQuestfor100Percent
I don't think we will watch actual movies, but parodies of them. I really think Micheal is who will really drive the story forward. Talking with the therapist and watching movies is what will kick off the next big heist, I think.

Talking with the therapist and watching movies is what will kick off the next big heist, I think. Yeah, of course they will be parodies of them. The question is: what do you guys want to see parodied? And here is an interesting thought. Maybe Michael will be the one to push Franklin & Trevor to do more heists so he can satisfy his thirst for chaos and feed his ever-growing ego? As the story goes on, we could see Michael becoming badder & badder. Remember: Michael is bored with life. Chaos could change that.

We've all took the journey to become the king in past GTA's. But never have we seen what it is really like to be the king. Can't f*cking wait! I'm not actually a big movie person so I couldn't tell you what movies he would watch. I don't think Micheal will turn into a "bad guy", but I do think he will be the main one getting the heist together.

You don't think returning to crime will change the way he views himself? I personally think he will slowly turn into his own version of Heisenberg. Cutter De Blanc
Queen's my favorite band, but as far as that song goes it was among my least favorite of theirs (I always thought Roger Taylor's songs were particularly silly), but upon hearing it in context of a new GTA game, I think it's a really excellent choice. The lightheartedness of the song will be a fine counterpoint to what you're doing while listening to it. Much much better choice than One Vision, that's for sure. I actually thought One Vision fit in pretty well with Liberty Cities vibe, dunno, then again I allways liked the song my self, and I loved IV's sound track as a whole. (Most people I've seen don't) But yeah agree Rockstar made a great choice on the song for the Trailer, and I'm glad it made it in, personally I'm hoping Queen gets it own station in V, similar to how Bob Marley got one in IV. GTA-King
Michael reminds me of Wolf from PAYDAY: The Heist. http://payday.wikia.com/wiki/Wolf Wolf raised his family in Stockholm until the economic slump in the 2000's. Wolf's software development company lost many clients, continuing with only one client who had cold feet and withheld payments. Wolf took personal loans to appease the client and keep the project afloat, but the client had already decided to pull out. His company became bankrupt and his family homeless. He later had a mental breakdown and began acting out various action movies. This has resulted in his criminal career. Andreas
And the TV in GTA V just got more interesting. http://www.gtav.net/news/4521/gtav-online-...and-screenshots Yeah, not only that but there are two more interesting quotes from official sources. Few TV shows can sustain 50 hours of story by sticking with one character’s point of view; with three, Rockstar has the flexibility to move between them to pace the both story and the gameplay. [...] men in comedy costumes try to corner you outside the Cathay Theatre, including the Superman-like Impotent Rage - who has his own show on the in-game TV station - and Master Chief riff, Space Ranger.
