MAN IN THE DARK Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 I though pretty long time that Niko in mind, was created that he couldn't kill innocent pedestrians. Thats why i find that character lame. But now, i just rethinked all this. Then i realised He WAS created in this in mind. He was created to kill, smash with a car and create rampage. Now i thinking what a badass Niko character is !!! So here is, what i think, my list of the things what every GTA Protagongist should do, no matter what: 1)Kill pedestrians, women also. 2)Steal cars. 3)Smash pedestrians with a car. 4) Create rampage. I think what the OP is implying that the things the GTA Protagonists do should fit the protagonists.. Example:... In GTA 4 Niko felt bad about killing people, so going on an rampage killing 1000s of people didn't really make sense. Well, she wasn't exactly innocent; "She was once the girlfriend of Dwayne Forge and later started to date Jayvon Simson, the man who ratted out Dwayne." FearTheLiving Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 What you listed is pretty much player options not a GTA character quality, sure some of these people are pretty crazy to do the things they do, but we the players choose what they do outside of missions and during them (if you're running over peds, killing old ladies, mooning children, ect.) I personally don't see any of the protagonists (not counting GTA V for obvious reasons) to be a complete psychos unless you count certain rampages. All protagonists must also, have a distinctly undeserved sense of smug superiority. They are always the only character who can see the folly of the criminal underworld around them. But they keep participating anyway because... well it's in the script. They also are really nosy. If they see a public phone ringing, they always pick it up, and are also so accommodating that they will happily do whatever the voice on the other end tells them to do. They also have to make a stupid comment when they jack somebody's car, usually by way of a faux-apology. Claude obviously didn't do this, but clearly he was thinking it every time. They also are willing to commit most crimes major and minor, but one sticking point is that they won't take drugs. Apparently they all have a moral opposition to them no matter what their cultural background. They are also too trusting. They must all get betrayed by almost every gangster they ever work with.
