However, they've recently taken a liking to making their characters look exactly like their voice actors, or at least very close. For instance, they based Max Payne in MP3 on his voice actor instead of Sam Lake, the creator of Max Payne (whose appearance Max Payne was originally based on, and they are not similar looking people). Then Ned Luke looks like Michael, Shawn Fonteno looks like Franklin (albeit more heavyset), and if Steven Ogg is the guy, he's pretty much the splitting image of Trevor. So now it's somewhat plausible to decide the likelihood of an actor based on their similarities to the character appearance-wise, unless they are not major characters. I'm also thinking about GTA V's beach girl and that model. We all think the beach girl looks more like Kate Upton. This way Rockstar can use Kate Upton's image without actually paying her. Very good observation. It appears we have found Trevor's VA! There is definitely a lot of similarity with the voices on his website and Trev, but he seems to be putting Trevor's voice on a little bit. I wonder if any other video games have fans like some of the guys on this forum who manage to decode such small pieces of information. His voice, I couldn't find one where he sounds like Trevor, but he is a voice actor. He's putting on an accent and gravel.
