Marshall_X Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Hey Here's Marshall I want to tell u that these are my pc specs Intel Pentium Dual Core Cpu 3.00Ghz 2.00gb ram Win 7 ultimate 64/32 (dualboot)and the worst part the Graphics card- Intel G41 express chipset 256 mb.I can understand gta lags bcuz of the gfx model but see.... If i keep the same specs and insert a 2gb gfx card say nvidia gtx 520 Will it run in high resulition? Ram will be same,processor will be sane....But if i change the gfx and keep the same hardware...will it run? And sorry for any typing mistakes i am not used to typing in android phones. . luceberg Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 The Nvidia 520gt is a weak graphics card. The amount of video memory it has does not make a difference. A gtx 640 would be much better. unc13bud Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 i agree, get a gt 640, as its hard to get a 9800 gt new + under $50. gt 640 @ $75 is better deal as it doesn't require pci-express power connector. and windows 7, either 32 or 64 bit is too much for gta IV AND dual core socket 775 processor. i recommend to downgrade to xp if possible, if not, upgrade the memory per directions above.
