ViceCityMobster86 Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Recently Gamefaqs started another contest on there main site. They are currently accepting nominations for characters in the contest. I myself am nominating characters, mostly from GTA. Sadly Grand Theft Auto has a not so great history in these contests because of a lack of fan support. GTA games sell very well and I am surprised by this. GTA needs more support in these contests against the overrated characters out there. I know the staff does not like people promoting stuff on other sites but this is something cool to gain our fandom some bragging rights but helping GTA by voting when the time comes would be greatly appreciated. If any of you have Gamefaqs accounts or want to sign up go ahead and nominate Grand Theft Auto characters. Then rally every GTA fan you know. Then we all vote for that one character, so the votes aren't spread out across the characters. I would like to see a non Nintendo character to win something for once. I won't deny that the story was the most unique, it just wasn't for me personally. I never really got into the characters and I still saw them as their OOT counterparts because of the recycled models. Lots of the weirdness and horror came from the awful engine it runs on that makes entire objects disappear for no reason, or makes things only appear when they're two feet in front of you. And the blocky graphics were also a good bad thing that gave the game a certain atmosphere. You could intentionally make the game bad in the good ways, but I don't think it'd work so well. (And there have been remake attempts in the past (and one other that I've heard of), but nothing has came out of any of them yet.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
