Parachute equipping.

I hated how in tbogt you had to equip your parachute before base jumping. It was annoying.

Tbogt was awesome but i would rather have the parachute auto equip while falling.

 

Also even though it makes no sense i think you should always have the parachute like in multiplayer.

 

Auto equip not auto deploy. Auto deploying would just be stupid.

I say manual, but I get where people are coming from. R* likes to do that halfway realism. You need to be "wearing" it, but where did it come from? If you can manually equip it from thin air when you're not falling, why can't you do the same to save you life when you're falling to your death?

 

So I say manual, but it should be manual anytime.

When you think about it isn't that unrealistic and it does make sense. There could just be a parachute in every aircraft so when you jump out its equipped. There could even be a cool animation where they grab it and put it on real quick or as they are in midair. Now maybe that's going to far but it would be badass.

It takes to much time to equip it. If you are falling to your death it should still allow you to survive by auto equipping it and then deploying it with the Triangle/Y button

And isn't the only way of getting a chute that doesn't have you driving across the city is to cheat, so that's not realistic.

 

He should just put the parachute on when he gets in the aircraft therefore realism problem solved.

 

How many GTA players actually land and get out? Very few I should think.

Manual when it comes to doing it on foot, before jumping off buildings, bridges and mountains. Auto when jumping out of a helicopter or an airplane!

I think this is the fairest solution.

 

When we want to do some base jumping then we should make the conscious decision to grab a chute, but when in a plane it seems natural to assume we'd just have one on.

Rock star have already confirmed most aircraft will have parachutes, in the same way that most boats will have scuba gear.

 

I would imagine you would automatically pick up the Shute when you enter the plane, but you have to manually equip it once you jump from said aircraft.

I can't remember but how did it work in San Andreas? Because I don't recall ever getting annoyed at that parachute system.
