DryJohnson45
I was thinking about all the haters of realism and all the haters of non-realism and I was thinking maybe R* should have a menu for difficulty settings. There would be Easy, Normal, Hard, and Harcore mode. Easy is an easier GTA game Normal is basically the normal GTA game Hard would be not the average GTA game Hardcore would consist of all the realism of a roleplaying criminal (could be used for roleplay or people who want a challenge like driving during a mission and failing due to forgetting to fill up the tank...) In this menu there would be an advanced setting chooser. Each attribute of the game could be set off and on and depending on what is enabled, the diffuclty would be called a certain thing. (so what it says when you look at your Xbox/ps3/pc profile what setting your playing on, or what to tell friends) There would be settings like... Realistic bullet wounds, stab wounds, and other wounds. Realistic cars handling Realistic health health regeneration enemy health harder or realistic realistic deaths gas, hunger,f*cking bitches. etc. OR R* can not listen to you whiny people about too little or too much realism and do there own thing. keep an open mind about this topic, the settings and difficulty would be cool BUT not what a GTA game does but neither does character switching. wwinterj
This is a nice idea but would take way to much time to implement.
Tobias_Rieper
Well, Red Dead GOTY edition at least, had a Hardcore mode.
Lelouch The Zero
GTA doesn't really need a difficulty. It's hard enough in some missions as is.
E•MO•TION
This is an ancient idea, but I agree 100% with having a different mode for the roleplayers.
NikosPeacoat
Too many options. The only options would be Normal or Hardcore. But either way.. No.

No easy but Hardcore I wouldn't mind. Something like Red Dead Redemption Hardcore would be cool.
Korisselys
if people want realism that much then just buy a simulation game

GTA mission are hard as is you guys are right haha, If they had like a mod type menu built in the pause and enable and disable certain settings on built in game would be cool

To start, why should I read your forum post when it's not even titled right? Secondly, you don't have to talk like this. It's annoying. Okay? 3rd, this isn't your idea. Hundreds, thousands of people have said the same thing. Instead of calling this "Thought of Something Cool", Name it "GTA Gameplay Difficulty Levels." Okay? Maybe then will people take your post more seriously. Not trying to be rude or anything, only helping you out. Make your post look nicer, and label it correctly, that way people can actually FIND it in a search so they don't create the same exact forum thread next week with their "original" idea, when they could add onto someone else's thoughts from before.
