will gta v have vice city ads?

as you know rockstar likes to hint at next games with ads around the city

 

gta 3 had an ad of vice city iv had an ad of los santos

 

so it's very likely if we see flyus ads or anything hinting vice city it will be the next game

 

there were alot of hints in gta iv that los santos was the next location

It would be great if they did have those, I have a feeling they'll update it somewhere near the end of V's cycle just like TBoGT I believe with the first trailer in the amusement park.

I think he's just inferring that from what rockstar did with IV and V. Because IV went back to it's roots and went to liberty and then V is going back to LA. So it's a logical assumption to think that the next game will be in Vice City

I'm sure that GTAV will have a ad about Liberty City(GTAIV) and maybe Vice City too. I guess GTA VI will be in Miami...back in the old days of Vice City.

It would be kind of cool if the title was not just GTA VI, but GTA VIce. However, I'm kind of hoping to see another GTA game set in Las Venturas (Las Vegas) since R* is leaving it out of GTA V. There's also San Fierro (San Francisco), but I'm not sure how interesting that would be for its own GTA title.

i am refering to vice city being the best choice for them and something i expect them to do

too me vice city is the obvious choice and i bet MOST of rockstar games have thought about a true big vice city

 

like they did with san andreas los santos they said they were dissapointed by los santos in san andreas 2004 and always wanted to do something better

For next gen, I would rather see a massive southern area with a huge amount of cities in states like Florida, Texas, and many other southern states. Rockstar could make so many jokes and have a insanely huge map with a GTA 5 sized area between each city. Imagine that.

That's not how Rockstar roll with GTA. (with the exception of GTA London but they seem to be well over that) They'll probably never again set a GTA game in an actual city, only set it in a city clearly based on a real city with a different name.

Yeah it would be a possibility. In IV there was some FlyUS ads where they said that you could travel to VC for 300$... At least, I don't know if there are a lot but I saw one when I was playing today.

There were also lots of adverts and dialogue suggesting Vice City was the next location in IV. I think we'll see lots of Vice City and Liberty City ads in GTA5, not because they're hinting at anything, but because they're always trying to make the world feel bigger than just the map you're playing on.

Yeah, Vice City will probably be the setting for the next GTA after GTA V. Rockstar will want to make a proper Miami this time, just like what they did/do with Los Angeles now. But I think it's way too early to even talk about GTA VI. It's V time and it will be V time for 5+ years - I'm happy about that, we'll have endless opportunities in the sprawling city of LS and its surrounding countryside - lots of content will be packed into V, we'll spend 5 years - hundreds of hours in the modernized state of San Andreas!

I'm sure they meant that they want a city based on one of this cities. It's just simpler to say "I want Chicago" or "I want Detroit" if it's an area that hasn't already gotten an R*-style name.

As long as it's the same universe. GTA San Andreas didn't have ads because it was the last game in the generation/universe.

A nextgen GTA game set in Vice City or just a fictionalized Florida seems to have some great possibities.. Northern Fla is very hillbilly and they could add an Everglades type region with gators.. Still have the beaches and more vibrant areas too.. VC deserves an HD remodel... The problem with Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and other midwestern cities is that there just is a lack of variety.. And Vegas is just small and is better suited in the way it was in SA.... But if we get a new city, Washington DC (Capital City) seems the most intriguing..

Not sure if it will be exactly Vice City. Rockstar chose this city because of the time period. Nowadays it's quite different.

But I think there will be small hints. Whatever city it may be.

The only way I can see Vice City ever returning, is if it is one of three cities. Modern day Miami just doesn't compare to 80's Miami. Sure, it's almost certain Vice City will be mentioned many times in V, but so will Liberty City.

Something tells me GTA VI wont be Vice City. If Rockstar are giving us the sun, surf and sand in GTA V, what will Vice City have to offer?
