Weapon Colors

In the screenshots of the bread truck robbery, the (Presumably, if you look closely) M416s have green furniture, meaning stock and hand guard. But in Michael's character trailer, when the men rush into the building, the weapons have a regular, gunmetal color. It would be a nice customization touch to add if you ask me, but I don't want every weapon I pick up to have an unrealistic furniture color, like in Saints Row Three.

I guess that there will be different colors. I like my guns realistic but some people like golden camo or red tiger so why not

Weapons come in all sorts of colors,like FDE for example.... if its not something stupid like gold er silver, I suggest you get over it Bro.

Yeah, for the AK I'd like to see a classic wooden texture, but also modern plastic with RIS for attachments. As for the rest, not really a fan of guncame with a few exceptions.

Camos on guns should be rare,like if your in a heist mission and in that exact heist mission all the cosp are using camoflauged SMGS? you take it you keep it,but if you lose it, you cant get it no more...

 

1 Camoflauge for each gun only obtained in missions.

 

kinda ike how in the 3 Era GTA's some cars would be a certain paint or bullet proof but you'd had to be smart to notice the Uniqueness of it.

After everyone speculating about "every gun being green" a while back, and now that they've confirmed we can customize them... I think R* chose the ones in screens and trailers to be green because the theme is MONEY.

It's not like that green trim is unrealistic or unusual, at all. I think it depends on where we get them from. The weapons Trevor procure, are probably from some contacts he has from his time in the military, hence the green furniture. If Franklin scores a few SMGs from his contacts in the gang environment, they're probably more usual in their appearance. This is just a theory, mind you.

I think if Rockstar want to avoid GTA becoming something akin to Saints Row they will not allow people to have pink bloody rocket launchers.

 

The feature sounds about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
