PlainGold
This topic is to debate about which screenshots/caps are comprising of actual gameplay and not cut-scenes. You have to post a screenshot or a screen-cap from a trailer and tell why you think this is gameplay. OK, I'll start off. This scene of Micheal driving a car looks like gameplay as it looks like this is has used a cinematic camera to alter the view (as in GTA IV). Also forgot to mention about the aliasing in bushes. This screen looks like gameplay because of the aliasing on cars.
zombie elvis
All the cutscenes are done real time, you're going to get aliasing whatever it is, but they might add focal blur in cutscenes. Unless they're doing something very wrong with GTA, any time a lead character is driving a vehicle will be gameplay.

Everything is gameplay or cutscene
nigelhere9901
Everything is in engine, that should end the argument that some of the parts of the trailers have no aliasing (which is wrong). Some are cutscenes while some parts are not, aliasing has nothing to do with cutscenes. @zombie elvis By focal blur I think you mean Depth Of Field? I wish they would rather skip it whether in cutscenes or in actual gameplay. Edited May 10, 2013 by nigelhere9901
Andreas
This screen looks like gameplay because of the aliasing on cars. Not necessarily. The quality of some screenshots suffer from the JPG compression but you don't see that through aliasing, but more through 'pixelation'. The difference between cut-scenes and gameplay is not that big, because, as already stated, the cutscenes are rendered real-time, they are not pre-rendered.
