And this is also the reason why this is so curious and confusing to me, the only reason i can think about for them to say such a thing is because maybe we didn't see the same thing? for now they the only one's that can separate the facts from the fancy... We're still going to get aliasing issues and low quality textures as well as potential rendering errors due to the expansive nature of the game and how old these consoles are. CVG said the game looks beautiful. If I were you I would not think about the graphics. You are going to buy the game either way. Just think about the "things to do" in the game. I certainly don't think the graphics will be bad but it's also unrealistic to expect next-gen quality from these clunker consoles. Rockstar will do the best with what they have and will push the hardware as far as it can go. Needless to say, when the game comes out I doubt there will be very many people harping on the graphics. After all, thats why we love GTA. Exactly man. IGN USA has become a very f*cked up site through the years. They have messed up bigtime with simple things about older GTA games. Those asses actually said you couldn't swim in GTA:SA and during their live shows before the GTA V updates happened, they messed up even more. If they actually said this stuff about GTA V only looking slightly better than GTA IV, we can already tell they are either full of sh*t, it's simply someone who hates GTA or he hasn't played GTA IV in a long ass time. In character models alone the game is a huge step up, and that stuff can't be made pretty with photoshop or whatsoever. The character models are just that, a huge huge improvement over GTA IV. hell...RDR, LA Noire and MP3 were a HUGE improvement over GTA IV. It seems to me IGN USA are just salty that CVG seems to be getting all the love this time around. I wouldn't believe a word they say. Most previews have said the game looks great and from what we have seen via screens and trailers it's safe to assume any nitpicking IGN make is nothing to get hot and bothered about. These games have never been about amazing graphics, the games look and feel great regardless. I know people criticize GTAIV for its aged look, but honestly I still play it to this day (in fact I have it paused on my TV right now) and I still love how it looks despite the frame-rate issues or whatever. In fact, if there was more of a focus on graphics we would naturally get less of a focus on gameplay. Please stop feeding the media trolls at IGN, you're just giving them the attention they want. If there's anyone you should trust the most on GTAV it's the folks at CVG because they know their stuff and they don't bullsh*t you. Everyone please stop whining, this game will be great, and we'll be obsessing over it for years just like we did with the previous games. Trust in Rockstar. If it's on par with RDR i'll be incredibly impressed and happy, better would be.....no words for it man, no words!!!! I'm playing RDR again now and the difference between the characters models in IV and RDR is crazy. The faces alone are so much more detailed and realistic in RDR. There's absolutely zero logic what IGN says here, zero logic that GTA V would look like a slightly better looking GTA IV, ridiculous bullsh*t. If they honestly said that.....OMFG. If they had said that the resolution was a little lower or that it doesn't look as crisp as the trailer, that is something i can believe. But a slightly better looking GTA IV? Wow. I suggest they compare some GTA IV shots or trailers and look at the character models alone. They are beyond crazy. @ynashimitsu Hold on...it was Greg Miller saying that sh*t?
