Sometimes, I really wanted to plant a bullet in Nigel West Dickens face even if I failed the mission, just for the hell of it. The same goes for your friends. As Trevor, I want to be able to take Nervous Ron out, pour gasoline on him and set him alight. Because why not? I want to fire a minigun at Amanda or bail out of a plane on Jimmy because it's mayhem, because it's GTA. I hope R* don't limit our fun like that. Yes they shouldn't sacrifice fun for realism, but at the same time, they shouldn't sacrifice all credibility of the characters so you can do something you could just as easily do to one of the many thousands of pedestrians in the game.
