Each GTA has sold better than the previous and the series as a whole continues to grow. It has become one of those games that almost every gamer has to have in his/her collection. As long as Rockstar keep taking their time and making great GTA games i'll be delighted. We don't need no rushed out repeat every year like certain other games. Sure waiting around 5 years for GTA V has been a pain but you know R* are not rushing this and the game will be worth the wait. I'll be honest time has flown by. I remember like it was yesterday playing GTA IV for the first time. Can't say I remember playing games that come out every year for the first time. R* made GTA IV smaller, people complained, but in the end it was all good because it was in a new console, with a lot more detail. Now, for next-gen, they'll probably go the same route (a smaller world than GTA V) but with a lot more detail. They might even make just one city again, but fans will eventually want more as console power increases: a full fledged state, even a country. Who knows? Try to imagine the level of detail that games released at the end of next-gen life cycle will have. It will be insane. I thought this was a post about what might next GTA be. Then I'd answer my hopes of it being Vice City and surroundings and Liberty City in one game where two characters both live in different cities and you can switch between them line in V but from the start of the game you can't travel to other city due to some terrorist threat, weather or whatever they think of, but you can at some point in game (travel being only available by buying a plane ticket).
