MrBui610 Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 Since I first saw Trevor I thought that he was an old man who would be killed in a mission at some point, I never thought we would have to play as him. Personally I don't really like Trevor, he's basically just another Niko Bellic, another angry man who served in some kid of war. After watching Trailer 2 and Trevor's Character Trailer, my dislike for him grew further. He is a lunatic, a madman howling at the moon, I would prefer not to play as him at all. I prefer Michael to be honest, he's much more tolerable and Franklin is just another CJ, but at least he's not completely out of his mind. Trevor is a one of a kind in the GTA series, Rockstar said that he was inspired by the players that simply like to bring chaos to the city killing everyone on sight and doing crazy stuff. There has alway been that disconnect in GTA with the protagonist always claiming they want to get out of there life of crime and then going off and killing 100's of people. With Trevor it genuinely appears he doesn't have much of a moral compass, and he is happy to go around the street of LS causing all sorts of chaos. I can't wait to play as him and just act like a crazy person. Punch people on the street. Have extreme road rage. Rob liquor stores with him. You wouldn't do any of that with Michael. I love the psychotic protags like Vercetti and Trevor as I can realistically see them committing murder on a large scale. I often role-play and deeply play as I feel the character would behave.. I do not see Mike or Franklin bashing open old women's faces within the alleyways.. Trevor tho? Sure thing. I am excited to experience each of these character's lives. If we had 3 Michael type characters.. It would not be worth having 3 characters. I like that each 3 will be very different and reflect the parts of San An they come from. And the carjack sequence in the latest trailer is very much the same as when Tony Cipriani would carjack. Also I see a bit of Phil Cassidy voice with a Lance Vance demeanor. I mean why would they cast so many sociopaths for lead roles in games like THIS.. OP, you are right, Trevor looks way unhappy in that screen! WFT R*! Aint nobody got time for that! We met in jdc. We had since been booked together many times. He would always howl. The last time I saw him was inside, he stole a car.. was being chased.. turned off his headlights.. tearing through red lights. T-boned a car, killing an old veteran man in front of his old wife. I saw him that night he was booked in.. He was howling so loud it echoed throughout the jail. Trevor is ANIMALISTIC, in nature. The world will create such specimen, The weak will look away. Trevor seems honest-genuine-straightforward and ruthless The closest thing to Trevor is Johnny from the LOST MC. He was another original BadAss.
