After doing a little research, it's May 9th in Japan and May 13th in English speaking countries (going by the dubbed anime). This has to do with bad luck numbers in the cultures ("9" is "bad luck" in Japan while "13" is "bad luck" in Western culture). Happy birthday, by the way.
