Darcleft27
*GTA Prison Life The first time your arrested it will be your first strike. You'll go to jail then your released on bail that you'll have to pay, just like in GTA 4. The second time your arrested it will be your second strike. Then the process will repeat the same as the first strike. The third time your arrested it will be your third strike. After this takes place you will be sent to a maximum security prison. (Once you get out of the max prison the 3 strike system resets) Now while in this max prison you'll have the choice to stay in the prison and complete different mini games and mini missions for achievements. But if you don't want to be there, you'll be allowed to get out of the prison by speeding up time to your release date. While in prison you won't be confined inside your jail cell, you'll be allowed to explore the facility. You'll see the other criminals in the facility and short story lines can possibly be made. In the prison mini games you can shoot some hoops in basketball and lift weights. The other possible activities will come from the short story lines where you can maybe help the other inmates with a task. Tasks like breaking out of the prison which would be Awesome!! and fighting or killing other inmates. What do you guys think?
IDredMan
Made a thread about this a while ago. Everyone (Including myself) agreed that a 'Prison after arrest' system would pretty much ruin GTA. EDIT: An option to skip jailtime would be very welcomed, and an option you toggle in the menu, so it takes less time to skip. Yes it would, and a way for you to even further prove it would ruin the gameplay, try playing in a GTA: Sanandreas Multiplayer RP Server, and get arrested! It's annoying! universetwisters
Who wants to spend time in jail in GTA? Shouldn't you get bailed out after your arrest, or is going to jail Rockstar's real "Bold New Direction"?
Carmelo2
It was agreed in a thread not long ago that going to jail would only work if it was part of the story. I.E. Trevor (for example) getting hauled in and being released after the other two complete specific missions.
RoadRunner71
They should sentence the player to penal servitude and spend the next 3 days cleaning the desert roads of Blaine County, without the option of changing of character.
ROCKSTAR MANIC
Its going to be used in the story line
UberVIIX
Being as I have actually been in jail before, I can assure you no amount of mini-games, or interesting criminals you could meet would make it any fun.
Caleb_SA
I've watched every episode of prison break and breakout kings. A break out of jail mission would be very nice.
